Quincy's NFL power rankings for all 32 teams heading into Week 8 of 2025. Where does each NFL team stand in our latest power rankings for the 2025 season?
The NFL is about as unpredictable as it gets. We are starting to see true contention from several teams such as the Indianapolis Colts who entered the season as real underdogs. After beating a quality opponent in the Chargers on Sunday, this team looks legit. Stories like the Colts' are what make the NFL great.
Now that we are approaching the halfway point in the season, we will start to experience stiffer competition. Teams know each other at this point in the year, and they can adjust accordingly. Divisional matchups will only get more exciting. Before you know it, the final playoff push will be here. This is one of the most exciting periods of the NFL season.
Several teams experienced movement in this week's version of the power rankings. The top five teams continue to shake up as the season progresses. Let's dive in and see where everyone stands heading into Week 8.

No. 32: New York Jets
The Jets were bested once again in Week 7. This time New York fell to the Panthers. The game was ugly and low-scoring, but this Jets team is proving that they may legitimately become the first team to go 0-17.
No. 31: Tennessee Titans
The Titans came out swinging against former head coach Mike Vrabel and the Patriots. Through two quarters, Tennessee looked like they were going to make this a competitive game in the wake of the firing of head coach Brian Callahan. Unfortunately, New England turned on the gas and crushed the Titans in the second half.
No. 30: Las Vegas Raiders
The Chiefs shut out the Raiders on Sunday. This team entered the season with much higher expectations than what has been delivered. Pete Carroll is not getting the job done as a head coach.
No. 29: Miami Dolphins
The Dolphins have officially joined the ranks as one of the most sorry franchises in the league this season. Miami's offense has lost its magic, and the defense is non-existent. Head coach Mike McDaniel's days are certainly numbered.
No. 28: New Orleans Saints
The Saints dropped another game to the Bears on Sunday. This team continues to fight hard, but they do not have the talent to truly compete quite yet.
No. 27: Cleveland Browns
The Browns completely obliterated the lowly Dolphins in Week 7. This was a huge win for a team that has had a lot of trouble getting anything going this season.

No. 26: New York Giants
The Giants lost a heartbreaker to the Broncos on Sunday. After dominating Denver for most of the day, the Giants fell apart down the stretch. Rookie quarterback Jaxson Dart faltered in the fourth quarter, but he still nearly led a game-winning drive, only for the Giants' kicker to miss the extra point.
No. 25: Arizona Cardinals
The Cardinals cannot close out games whatsoever. They let another potential win against the Packers slip away in the final moments of Week 7. Arizona's coaching staff is likely feeling the heat of their seats at this point.
No. 24: Baltimore Ravens
The Ravens enjoyed a much-needed bye in Week 7. Hopefully, this team will enter Week 8 much healthier than they have been. With quarterback Lamar Jackson set to return following the bye, the Ravens have a chance to make some noise in a weak AFC North.
No. 23: Cincinnati Bengals
The Bengals showed up in a big way on Thursday night. They shocked the league by beating the Steelers. If Joe Flacco continues to play like he did this week, the Bengals' hopes for this season may be resurrected.
No. 22: Atlanta Falcons
The Falcons are a very streaky team this year. One moment they look like they could challenge for a NFC South title. The next moment they are barely able to score 10 points in primetime, as was the case in Week 7. The Falcons' defense has played solid ball; however, the offense needs to find itself.
No. 21: Minnesota Vikings
The Vikings could not hand the Eagles their third-straight loss of the season in Week 7. Minnesota experienced another week with Carson Wentz under center. Wentz tossed two interceptions and delivered a QBR of 46.2
No. 20: Houston Texans
The Texans fought hard to stay in the game against the Seahawks on Monday night. Alas, this team does not have enough offensive firepower to get the job done this season.
No. 19: Jacksonville Jaguars
The Jaguars did not show out for their familiar London crowd in Week 7. The Jaguars narrowly avoided being shut out by a Rams team that is hitting its stride. Jacksonville's early season success appears to be a possible mirage.
No. 18: Carolina Panthers
Don't look now, but the Panthers are 4-3 having won four of their last five games. Although they have been streaky this season, Carolina has a chance to make a legitimate run at the playoffs if they play at their best.

No. 17: Washington Commanders
The Commanders dropped another game in Week 7 to the division-rival Cowboys. What's worse, the Commanders may have lost Jayden Daniels to injury yet again in this young season. Washington needs to start notching some wins before this season slips away from them.
No. 16: Los Angeles Chargers
The Chargers are slipping yet again. The Colts dominated this team in Week 7. Los Angeles' grip on the AFC West has fully slipped from their fingertips.
No. 15: Dallas Cowboys
The Cowboys took c0ntrol of the No. 2 spot in the AFC East with a statement victory over the Commanders in Week 7. Dallas is a sneaky team to keep an eye on this season. While their defense is horrendous, this offense could take them places.
No. 14: Chicago Bears
The Bears find themselves with a little winning streak going. They managed to take down the Saints in Week 7 on the heels of a solid defensive performance. Perhaps this team has turned a bit of a corner this season.
No. 13: Pittsburgh Steelers
The Steelers dropped a tough loss to the Bengals in Week 7. Pittsburgh had been in control of the AFC North until this loss, but their performance revealed several weaknesses on defense. They seem to find a way to lose bad games every season.
No. 12: New England Patriots
The Patriots are displaying that they are here to stay this season. After a slow start against the Titans, New England dominated in the second half. They shut out Tennessee in a revenge game for head coach Mike Vrabel.

No. 11: Denver Broncos
The Broncos put together a miracle win against the Giants in Week 7. Denver looked hopeless until they put together a 33-point fourth quarter. Quarterback Bo Nix did well to carry this team in Week 7.
No. 10: Seattle Seahawks
The Seahawks find themselves in a three-way tie at the top of the NFC West after securing another win on Monday night. While Seattle won ugly by playing poorly in the second half, they are sitting pretty as they head into their bye week.
No. 9: San Francisco 49ers
The 49ers just keep winning despite their plethora of injuries on both sides of the ball. Quarterback Mac Jones is getting the job done and keeping this team near the top of the NFC West standings.

No. 8: Philadelphia Eagles
The Eagles' two-game losing streak did not become three in Week 7. The offense woke up and lit up the scoreboard against the Vikings. If Philadelphia plays like this then the rest of the league better be on notice.
No. 7: Green Bay Packers
The Packers won a hard-fought game against the Cardinals in Week 7. Green Bay is far from looking like the dominant team they were through two weeks. However, they are definitely one of the contenders in the NFC.
No. 6: Los Angeles Rams
The Rams have looked much more like themselves over the last couple of weeks. They have utterly dominated the Ravens and Jaguars. Both wins came primarily without the services of Puka Nacua. They should continue to contend in the NFC.
No. 5: Indianapolis Colts
It seems to be time that we as NFL fans start to view the Colts as legitimate contenders. The offense is unstoppable, and the defense is doing well to keep the pressure off the offense. Running back Jonathan Taylor is also playing out of his mind.
No. 4: Kansas City Chiefs
Whoever wrote off the Chiefs following a 0-2 start was out of their mind. The Chiefs looked like a true contender in Week 7 with a full stable of receiving weapons following the return of Rashee Rice.. A 31-0 win over a division-rival is a great way to start a run.

No. 3: Tampa Bay Buccaneers
The Buccaneers finally dropped a game in Detroit. The clash between two stellar NFC opponents was not as exciting as it was projected to be. Tampa Bay struggled with getting much going on offense. The holes of this team were definitely exposed on Monday night.
No. 2: Buffalo Bills
The Bills had their bye week in Week 7. They watched as the Patriots continued to cement a stranglehold over the AFC East. Perhaps the bye gave the Bills clarity they needed following two-straight losses.
No. 1: Detroit Lions
The Lions made a statement by more or less dominating the Buccaneers in Week 7. The running game ran wild against a team that is supposed to be strong in the rushing defense department.
