Second Investigation Opened in Ryan Gold Alleged Betting Scandal
There is a second investigation being opened related to former Arizona Cardinals scout Ryan Gold's involvement in an alleged betting scandal. The Arizona Department of Gaming opened an investigation in July. Now, the Massachusetts Gaming Commission is looking into the unusual betting patterns made in the state. Both investigations are still open and are without a set end date right now. Gold has been suspended by the NFL, but has filed an appeal and has a hearing coming up in September. It's never a good look whenever a player or someone in the front office gets caught up in these betting scandals. There should be more on this story as it develops over time.
