Jacksonville Jaguars running back Bhayshul Tuten, San Francisco 49ers RB Brian Robinson Jr., and Dallas Cowboys tailback Jaydon Blue appear to be three lottery-ticket waiver adds ahead of Week 7 of 2025.
With all teams' starting running backs heavily rostered, it's worthwhile to look at the backup backs of as many teams as possible to find out which ones are the best to stash on your bench.
Injuries, depth chart changes, and other occurrences can quickly make an RB2 immediately fantasy relevant, so let's dive into waiver wire pickup decisions for Tuten, Robinson, and Blue ahead of Week 7!

Bhayshul Tuten Week 7 Waiver Wire Pickups

Baller Move: Add in All Leagues
Tuten is one of the NFL's best athletes at the running back position. He weighs over 200 pounds and ran a 4.32-second 40-yard dash at the 2025 NFL Combine, which was tied with the much lighter De'Von Achane for the fastest in combine history by a running back.
Chris Johnson, the legendary Tennessee Titans running back of old, is the only player with a comparable weight who ran faster. Combined with Tuten's excellent elusiveness in college, you can see how there's a ton of upside. So far, though, he's been his team's backup RB.

He had been limited for weeks in practices with a shoulder injury. That's no longer the case. It's likely he'll get a bigger workload moving forward -- if not in Week 7, then probably after the bye. According to my analysis, he's too talented to stay off the field.

Jacksonville's lead back, Travis Etienne Jr., has seen a huge efficiency drop-off after his first four weeks. He's struggled against tougher defenses. Tuten's been more elusive with his touches, so he could start eating into Etienne's workload.
Even for his contingent upside on a team with one of the best run-blocking offensive lines and schemes in the NFL, Tuten should be rostered in all leagues.
Brian Robinson Jr. Week 7 Waiver Wire Pickups
Rostered: 47% of Leagues
Baller Move: Add in 12+ Team Leagues As Handcuff
Robinson has never been an especially impressive talent, but he'd be set to step into an incredibly valuable running back role if 49ers starting RB Christian McCaffrey got hurt. McCaffrey's usage this season has been ridiculous, and San Francisco head coach Kyle Shanahan tends to give as much work as possible to his RB1.
McCaffrey has been healthy so far this season, but injuries are simply unpredictable. The NFL is a brutal sports league for the human body, but CMC has put together healthy seasons before, so he's clearly capable of doing so again.
With the new CMC/B-Rob tandem, Kyle Shanahan believes the Niners now have two true starting RBs.

Robinson won't get many touches while CMC is playing, though, and certainly not enough to make him a trustworthy fantasy starter.
Jaydon Blue Week 7 Waiver Wire Pickups
Rostered: 25% of Leagues
Baller Move: Add in 14+ Team/Deep Leagues
Blue has barely gotten any action this season. He's the backup to RB1 Javonte Williams, who's handled basically all of the backfield work so far, and has produced well with it. Blue, meanwhile, only got activated after the injury to second-string RB Miles Sanders (knee/ankle), who's out for the season.
In two contests now, Blue has carried the ball seven times for seven yards, failed to log a target, and has scored a total of 0.7 PPR fantasy points. He played on 18 percent of his team's offensive snaps in Week 5, followed by just 9 percent in Week 6.

He hasn't had much space to run so far, but he also hasn't really done anything to earn more playing time yet. In deep leagues where absolutely every RB2 should be rostered, he shouldn't be on waivers or a free agent. But otherwise, the only reason it makes sense to add him now is as a handcuff to Williams if you're worried about potential injuries.
