Week 5 Waiver Wire Pickups - Jaxson Dart, Wan'Dale Robinson, Romeo Doubs Fantasy Football Outlooks

Jaxson Dart - Fantasy Football Rankings, Rookie QB Sleepers

Week 5 fantasy football waiver wire pickups for Jaxson Dart, Wan'Dale Robinson, Romeo Doubs in 2025. Read their waiver wire outlooks for fantasy football.

Fantasy managers saw many young players begin to emerge in Week 5 of the NFL season. The Giants turned to their first-round pick, and he was able to lead them to their first victory of the season.

In Green Bay, Jordan Love connected with Romeo Doubs in the back of the end zone three times in a career showing.

So, should fantasy managers add Dart, Robinson, and Doubs in Week 5? Let's dive in and find out.

Be sure to check all of our fantasy football rankings for 2025:

Jaxson Dart Week 5 Waiver Wire Pickups

Rostered: 20% of Leagues

Baller Move: Add in 12-team leagues

After dropping their first three games with Russell Wilson under center, the Giants opted to turn to their first-round pick from April's draft to lead the offense. In his NFL debut, Dart helped Big Blue secure their first victory as they defeated the heavily favored Los Angeles Chargers.

While the Giants saw superstar wideout Malik Nabers suffer a season-ending ACL tear in this game, Dart was still able to look quite productive and flash high fantasy upside.

The Ole Miss product was not given a significant workload but still delivered, going 13-for-20 with 111 passing yards and a score. On the ground, Dart punched in an additional touchdown and added 54 yards on 10 attempts.

While Dart's ceiling will be considerably lower without Nabers leading the WR room, given the upside he showed with his legs, Dart is worth adding in 1all 12-team formats this week. Seeing him tally 21.0 PPR points facing a potent Los Angeles defense, Dart could be in store for a top-12 finish facing the New Orleans Saints in Week 5, who have allowed the sixth-most PPR points to opposing QBs.

If you will be without Jordan Love and Caleb Williams, who have a bye week next Sunday, look to grab Dart on the waiver wire.

Wan'Dale Robinson Week 5 Waiver Wire Pickups

Rostered: 50% of Leagues

Baller Move: Add in all leagues

With Nabers down for the season, Wan'Dale Robinson becomes a must-add target this week. Robinson already enjoyed a breakout game earlier this season. During their Week 2 overtime loss to the Cowboys, the former second-round pick brought in eight of his 10 targets for 142 yards and a touchdown.

However, in Weeks 3 and 4, Robinson took the backseat in the passing attack, catching just four of his nine targets for a mere 38 yards. Despite this recent slump, managers should look to target Robinson on the waiver wire after many likely cut ties with him after he failed to live up to his Week 2 production.

With Nabers now sidelined, Robinson is expected to lead the Giants ' targets for the remainder of the season. While Dart looked Darius Slayton's way quite often (bringing in three of his four targets for 44 yards), Robinson is the primary slot receiver, and much of the offense should be funneled through him.

In 2024, Robinson caught a career-high 93 passes for 699 yards and three touchdowns. Given that he is set to serve as Dart's top option going forward, he carries high-end WR3 upside in PPR formats.

If available, he should be a top WR to target this week.

Romeo Doubs Week 5 Waiver Wire Pickups

Rostered: 50% of Leagues

Baller Move: Add in all leagues

The final player we will examine in this piece is Romeo Doubs of the Green Bay Packers. Doubs has emerged as the top option in the Green Bay WR room with Jayden Reed (collarbone) sidelined indefinitely.

Since Week 2, Doubs has caught 11 of his 15 targets for 111 yards. While his yardage output has been relatively low, Doubs has found the back of the end zone four times during this stretch, which has pushed him into WR3 territory.

In addition, rookie Matthew Golden is still growing into his role in the offense, and Dontayvion Wicks has yet to see a significant target share, leaving just Doubs and tight end Tucker Kraft, as well as the reliable options in the offense, weekly.

Even though fantasy managers should not expect Doubs to push 100+ receiving yards games, as he has yet to eclipse the 75-yard mark in a single game, his ability to draw targets in the red zone is quite impressive and worth noting.

With Reed expected to miss the majority of the season and Christian Watson (knee) still on the injured reserve, Doubs should remain one of the top targets for Love. He is worth viewing as a strong WR to target on the waiver wire as he will carry FLEX appeal in favorable matchups like he did on Sunday evening, facing the Cowboys, who have allowed the most PPR points to opposing WRs.

Coming out of their Week 5 bye, Doubs will face a struggling Cincinnati secondary and could be poised to find the back of the end zone for the fifth time in the campaign.
