Week 3 fantasy football waiver wire pickups for Quinshon Judkins, Blake Corum, Bhayshul Tuten in 2025. Read their waiver wire outlooks for fantasy football.
Every season, several No. 2 running backs quickly take over their respective backfield. Last season, rookie running back Bucky Irving was able to take the lead role in the second half and emerged as the al euag-eiwnner.
In this piece, we will look at three running backs who opened the season in depth roles but appear to be climbing up the depth chart.

Quinshon Judkins Week 3 Waiver Wire Pickups

Cleveland Browns rookie running back Quinshon Judkins was away from the team throughout most of the summer due to a domestic violence charge. When the Broncos selected him out of Ohio State in the second round, many expected him to take over the starring job immediately. However, following his arrest, he was unable to sign his rookie contract until shortly before Week 1.
This paved the way for rookie Dylan Sampson and veteran Jerome Ford to see most of the starting opportunities during training camp and preseason. In Week 1, Judkins was unable to play, which allowed Sampson and Ford to dominate the backfield.
However, after practicing last week, the Browns promoted him to the active roster, which allowed him to make his professional debut in Week 2 against the Ravens. While the Browns lost this contest, Judkins was immediately given a lead role in the backfield. He took 10 carries for 61 yards and caught all three of his targets for 10 yards.
This is important to note, as even though Judkins logged the second-most snaps, he still saw the most rushing attempts out of the backfield. This suggests that while his workload was monitored, the Browns view him as their RB1.
Leading up to Week 3, the Browns have already listed Judkins as their RB1, which should put him in line to lead the backfield once again. He was viewed as a top RB prospect in this class and could emerge as a solid mid-end RB2 on this offense.
He is a priority add in all formats this week.

Blake Corum Week 3 Waiver Wire Pickups

While Judkins appears to have taken over his backfield, Corum may need to wait a bit longer. As a rookie, Corum was deployed as the clear No. 2, as Kyren Williams dominated the opportunity. However, this season, the former National Champion has begun to carve out a more prominent role.
In Week 1, Corum logged just 10 offensive snaps and saw only one carry. However, in Week 2, Corum took five attempts for 44 yards and a score. He also ran 10 routes, which was double his amount compared to Week 1.
While Williams still saw more than double the amount of offensive snaps and has seen 75% of the team's total RB snaps, Corum appears to be in the mix for just under 30% of the total snaps on a weekly basis. While this will not push him into must-start territory, he could provide low-end flex value, especially in more favorable matchups.
More importantly, seeing Corum dominate the No. 2 job over rookie Jarquez Hunter makes him a priority handcuff as he would carry RB1 upside if Williams were to miss time.
While he is not a must-add player, managers in 12-team leagues with weaker running back rooms should consider starting Corum, as he could be a league-winner if he were to find himself in the starting role later in the season.

Bhayshul Tuten Week 3 Waiver Wire Pickups

The final running back we will take a look at is Jaguars rookie Bhayshul Tuten. Tuten opened his rookie season operating as the RB3 behind Travis Etienne Jr. and Tank Bigsby. However, following their Week 1 victory over the Panthers, the Jaguars opted to trade Bigsby to the Eagles, which allowed Tuten to move up to the No. 2 spot.
This past weekend, Tuten already began to see an increased role as he took eight carries for 42 yards, added 32 yards, and scored on two catches. In this contest, Tuten logged 18 offensive snaps, a drastic increase from the four he saw in the season opener.
Like Corum, Tuten does not hold the highest standalone value, as Etienne will continue to dominate the opportunities. Over the first two games, the Jaguars have relied heavily on Etienne, as he has logged 64% of the team's total RB snaps. He has seen at least 39 offensive snaps in each of the first two games and logged 30 total rushing attempts with six targets.
However, given Etienne's struggles last season, Tuten could be a lottery ticket if he were to stumble again or miss time. At Virginia Tech, Tuten flashed impressive speed and could be a league-winner, like Corum, if he were to take over the starting job.
In addition, he could even hold a slightly higher standalone value than Corum, as he was able to find the back of the end zone last week. Given his upside as a handcuff, Tuten should be viewed as a must-roster player in all formats going forward.
