Nick Bjugstad Battling Illness
Utah Hockey Club center Nick Bjugstad (illness) was unable to skate on Tuesday due to an illness. Fantasy managers should continue to monitor his status leading up to their next contest on Thursday evening against the Detroit Red Wings. After missing the first eight contests of the season, Bjugstad has held a role primarily in the bottom-six of the offense. Over his past seven games, Bjugstad has not gotten on the scoresheet. During this span he has tallied 13 hits and logged 13 shots on goal. Before this stretch, he tallied three helpers over his last five contests. Through 53 total contests, the 32-year-old has found the back of the net five times and added 10 helpers. He has logged 89 hits with 26 blocks. If he were to sit out on Thursday, Michael Carcone (lower body) could enter the starting lineup.
