BALLER MOVE: Add in 2QB Leagues
ROSTERED IN: 4% of Leagues
ANALYSIS: The story of Tyrod Taylor's career has been a sad one, as his constant injuries have opened up opportunities for the likes of Baker Mayfield, Justin Herbert, Davis Mills, and Tommy Devito. However, DeVito couldn't hold on to his starting job, which has given new life to Taylor's career.
DeVito threw for seven touchdowns to just one interception in his first four starts while leading the Giants to a 3-1 record and having a sparkling 105.7 passer rating. But after the Giants failed to score a touchdown in his last six quarters of play, they turned back to Taylor once again.
The former Pro Bowler had a great game against the Rams, finishing as the fantasy QB11 and throwing for 319 yards and a touchdown. He did throw an interception and failed to lead his squad to victory despite having multiple chances, but it was a fine outing overall.
Taylor will now face the Eagles at home to end the season, but we all know that this is no longer the same scary Eagles team we saw at the start of the season. Taylor himself did a fine job after taking over for DeVito against the Eagles two weeks ago, throwing for 133 yards and adding 21 yards on the ground, so we could see him provide solid QB2 value if he starts in a full game.
