Week 15 FLEX Rankings Outlooks
Harold Fannin Jr., Cleveland Browns
Cleveland Browns rookie tight end Harold Fannin Jr. is coming off a career-high game in Week 14 against the Tennessee Titans, turning his 11 targets into eight receptions, 114 yards, and one touchdown. During Wednesday's press conference, head coach Kevin Stefanski was "very impressed" with Fannin's work ethic and versatility. He has a clear connection with fellow rookie quarterback Shedeur Sanders since Week 12, with a 25.1% average target share and 2.23 yards per route run.
The Browns take on the Chicago Bears in Week 15, who have allowed an average of 10.9 fantasy points to the tight end position this season. Fannin is a TE1 and ranked fourth among all tight ends in the latest RotoBaller rankings, especially with fellow tight end David Njoku (knee) ruled out. Fannin offers fantasy managers a reliable PPR floor with high upside for the first week of the fantasy playoffs.
Christian Watson, Green Bay Packers
Green Bay Packers wide receiver Christian Watson has been the most productive pass-catcher for the Packers in the past few weeks, and he looks to carry over that momentum when the Packers head to Denver to face the Broncos in Week 15. Watson followed up a 4-80-1 effort against the Detroit Lions in Week 13 with a 4-89 and two scores last week in the Packers' pivotal division showdown with the Chicago Bears.
Watson runs into a stiff test in Week 15, as he'll likely draw the shadow coverage of Patrick Surtain II, one of the best cornerbacks in football and the reigning NFL Defensive Player of the Year. Despite that, Watson is on a heater right now for fantasy, and if anybody can break a long reception for a score, it's Watson. Surtain's presence should temper fantasy managers' expectations for Watson this week. That said, Watson is a volatile WR3 fantasy option against the Broncos.
Jerry Jeudy, Cleveland Browns
Cleveland Browns wide receiver Jerry Jeudy had his second-best game of the season in Week 14 against the Tennessee Titans, pulling in three of his five targets for 76 yards and a touchdown. This was his most yards since facing the Jets in Week 10, despite having an 88.15% route participation rate for the season. The 26-year-old is tied with rookie tight end Harold Fannin Jr. for the team lead in targets with 85.
Jeudy has an uphill battle ahead of him against the Chicago Bears in Week 15. However, he should get more looks with fellow wide receivers Cedric Tillman (concussion, ribs) and Malachi Corley (concussion) still in the league's concussion protocol after sustaining injuries in Week 14. Nonetheless, Jeudy's inconsistency has disappointed fantasy managers all season, and he is a low-end WR3/FLEX option heading into Week 15.
