Fantasy Baseball Waiver Wire Hitters to Target
Noelvi Marte, 3B/OF, Cincinnati Reds
37% rostered
FAAB Bid: ~2-5%
Cincinnati Reds infielder/outfielder Noelvi Marte is an interesting waiver wire target in 12+ team leagues this weekend. Marte struggled in the big leagues to start the season and was eventually optioned to Triple-A to work on his timing. Marte then went on to tear up Triple-A pitching, where he slashed .369/.409/.575 with eight home runs, seven doubles, 27 RBI, and nine stolen bases across 40 games with the Louisville Bats.
Those strong numbers at Triple-A led the Reds to call up Marte on Wednesday. While there are still some question marks about how much playing time the 24-year-old will see each week, his fantasy upside makes him a potential add. Marte batted .263 with 14 home runs, 17 doubles, 51 RBI, and 10 stolen bases across 90 games in 2025.
Carson Benge, OF, New York Mets
34% rostered
FAAB Bid: 6-8%
New York Mets outfielder Carson Benge is the top waiver wire hitter to add this week. He is batting .256 (10-for-39) with three home runs, two doubles, seven RBI, and one stolen base over his last 10 games. He has three multi-hit games during this stretch, and his metrics suggest that he is here to stay as a solid fantasy option.

— SNY (@SNYtv) June 3, 2026
Benge's .275 expected batting average is 27 points higher than his actual batting average (.248), and his .454 expected slugging is 80 points higher than his actual slugging percentage (.374). The rookie also ranks in the upper half of the league in barrel rate (10%), hard-hit rate (45%), squared-up rate (26.7%), and his sprint speed (28.6 ft/sec). Those metrics are why the Mets outfielder is a strong add in most leagues.
Jung Hoo Lee, OF, San Francisco Giants
23% rostered
FAAB Bid: ~5%
Since coming off the injured list due to a back strain on May 29, San Francisco Giants outfielder Jung Hoo Lee has been red hot. He is 21-for-37 with four doubles, 10 runs scored, one triple, and four RBI in his last eight games. Even before he landed on the IL back, Lee was starting to heat up offensively. He had a .286 batting average with one home run and five RBI in 11 games from May 8 to May 18.
Lee is the perfect hitter to pick up if you need a boost in batting average in your roto league. He has a .321 batting average on the season to go with a 38.5% launch angle sweet spot rate, a 37.7% squared-up rate, and a 10.4% strikeout rate. Given that the 27-year-old also has a 98th percentile expected batting average (.308), he's a sneaky pickup for Week 11.
Nick Gonzales, 2B/3B/SS, Pittsburgh Pirates
23% rostered
FAAB Bid: ~5%
Pittsburgh Pirates infielder Nick Gonzales is another player to target for a batting average boost. Gonzales is batting .312 with two home runs, 10 doubles, 30 RBI, and three stolen bases across 58 games this season and has been a steady fantasy option over the past two weeks. He is batting .359 with two doubles, two home runs, nine RBI, and 12 runs scored since May 26.
While Gonzales won't provide much in the home run or RBI departments, he will carry a high batting average throughout the year. So, if you need to increase your batting average in your roto league, the Pirates infielder could be a nice pickup in some 12+ team leagues. His batting average has not dipped below .295 since April 24.
Bryce Eldridge, 1B, San Francisco Giants
13% rostered
FAAB Bid: ~5-8%
San Francisco Giants first baseman Bryce Eldridge is finally showing his big league potential following a slow start. Eldridge slashed just .170/.264/.277 with one home run, two doubles, two RBI, and 14 strikeouts in his first 15 games since being called up on May 4. Since then, the 21-year-old has heated up at the plate. He's batting .500 (14-for-28) with one home run, five doubles, and four RBI on his current eight-game hitting streak.
It was only a matter of time until Eldridge started to produce with the Giants. He batted .260 with 25 home runs and 84 RBI across 102 Minor League games last year and always had this type of upside at the plate. Considering he has an elite .315 expected batting average, .559 expected slugging, 55.8% hard-hit rate, and 11.5% barrel rate, he's worth a look in all leagues.
Vaughn Grissom, 1B/2B/3B, Los Angeles Angels
4% rostered
FAAB Bid: ~2-5%
Los Angeles Angels infielder Vaughn Grissom should definitely be on some fantasy radars in 12+ team leagues. He is 12-for-36 (.333 batting average) with two home runs, four doubles, and 14 RBI over his last nine games and has shown some encouraging things at the plate this year. Grissom's early-season metrics suggest that he should remain a solid fantasy option.

The 25-year-old ranks in the 72nd percentile in xwOBA (.350), 67th percentile in expected batting average (.265), 68th percentile in expected slugging (.443), 79th percentile in hard-hit rate (46.7%), 94th percentile in strikeout rate (11%), and is pulling the ball in the air at an above-average rate (19.2%). Those metrics all make Grissom an interesting add this weekend.
Fantasy Baseball Waiver Wire Pitchers to Target
J.T. Ginn, SP, Athletics
40% rostered
FAAB Bid: ~8-10%
Athletics starting pitcher J.T. Ginn is easily the best waiver wire target at the position this week. Ginn has been lights out on the mound recently, with a 1.49 ERA and 37 strikeouts across his last six starts. He allowed two runs or fewer in each of those six starts and threw six innings of one-run ball with eight strikeouts in his most recent outing against the Cubs on Thursday.
Ginn has always had the stuff to thrive as a starter. Fantasy managers are now finally seeing him put it all together. His Pitching Run Value (10), Fastball Run Value (9), and Offspeed Run Value (5) all rank in the top 2% of the league, and he has above a 33% whiff rate on both his changeup and slider. The Athletics right-hander has been a bit wild at times, but he has been overall good for most of the last month.
Walbert Urena, SP, Los Angeles Angels
29% rostered
FAAB Bid: ~2-5%
Los Angeles Angels starter Walbert Urena has emerged as a consistent fantasy pitcher. He has a 2.08 ERA and 35 strikeouts across 39 innings pitched since May 1 and has allowed three runs or fewer in eight of his nine starts this season. In his most recent outing against the Rockies, Urena delivered his fifth quality start of the year by throwing six innings of three-run ball with seven strikeouts.
Outside of his high walk rate (12.8%), there isn't much to be concerned about with Urena moving forward. He has a .204 expected batting average against, a 3.29 expected ERA, a 32.3% chase rate, a 28.6% whiff rate, and a 33.6% hard-hit rate. All five of those metrics currently rank in the top half of the league. That's enough reason to pick up Urena off waivers.
Noah Cameron, SP, Kansas City Chiefs
23% rostered
FAAB Bid: ~2-5%
After finishing with a 2.99 ERA in his rookie campaign in 2025, Kansas City Royals starting pitcher Noah Cameron struggled out of the gate in 2026. He had a 5.55 ERA and 32 strikeouts in his first 35 2/3 innings pitched (seven starts) this season. However, the southpaw has been a completely different pitcher on the mound over the past three weeks.
Cameron has thrown a quality start in three of his last four starts, which included throwing seven innings of one-run ball with eight strikeouts against the Reds earlier this week. The Royals left-hander has shown enough over his last few outings to warrant an add in some deeper leagues. His whiff rate on both his cutter (28.3%) and curveball (33.9%) is up from last year as well.
Gage Jump, SP, Athletics
14% rostered
FAAB Bid: ~5-7%
Athletics pitcher Gage Jump was on this exact list last week, even after a mediocre performance in his Major League debut. The rookie was better in his second career start, as he delivered seven dominant innings with one run allowed and five strikeouts against the Cubs on Tuesday. Fantasy managers should now be prepared to spend more of their FAAB on the southpaw this week.

— MLB Pipeline (@MLBPipeline) June 3, 2026
Jump has the stuff to be a really solid fantasy option in Year 1. He had a 33.3% strikeout rate, a 31.8% whiff rate, a 75.8% zone-contact swing rate, and a 14.7% swinging strike rate at Triple-A to start this year, and his 37.3% chase rate in his first two career big league starts is an encouraging sign. If he continues to attack the strike zone, he could surprise a lot of fantasy managers.
Alex Lange, RP, Kansas City Royals
3% rostered
FAAB Bid: ~2-4%
Kansas City Royals relief pitcher Alex Lange appears to be the frontrunner to earn the bulk of saves in this bullpen moving forward. With Carlos Estevez still on the injured list and Lucas Erceg's recent struggles in the closer role, the Royals have turned to another arm in the ninth inning. Lange has been called upon to save each of Kansas City's last two wins.
He pitched a scoreless inning with one hit, one walk, and two strikeouts in a 5-2 win over the Reds on Wednesday and pitched another scoreless inning with one hit and one walk in an 8-6 win over the Twins on Thursday. Lange has prior experience as a closer, so he's best suited for this ninth-inning role for the time being. The right-hander saved 26 games for the Tigers back in 2023.
