We return for another installment of my updated rest-of-season fantasy baseball top 300 ranks, where I trust we can all take a measured approach and not act like the first couple of weeks are gospel moving forward! Don't worry, there has been plenty of movement since we endured whatever that strange Opening Night Netflix thing was, but many are simply cold to start the action. And I mean that literally, with plenty of pitchers battling diminished velocity in frigid early April.
There is plenty of data to entertain in small samples, like swing attack angles and new pitch tweaks. We're also reacting to a wild bullpen scene that inflates the "sure things" and leaves plenty of committees for you to throw darts at. Are you having fun yet?!
As only the second rest-of-season update, this will still have some preseason weights as a base, but it'll open up as you scroll lower and lower. Fantasy championships are not built on hot Aprils, but entire seasons. Rest-Of-Season Fantasy Baseball Rankings: Week 2 Update
These rankings will be updated every week throughout the season, so some of these situations are very fluid.
