Recent Update

7/20:Pittsburgh starter Gerrit Cole was masterful against the Brewers on Wednesday. He pitched seven strong innings of one-run ball, striking out 10 and walking none. The 10 K were a season-high for him and represent the highest total for any Pirates pitcher this season. Cole has turned things around in a big way since a rough June. He has a 4.18 ERA on the year, but has allowed just five runs in the last 19 innings, giving him a 2.37 ERA in three July starts. Cole is working his way back to SP2 status and should be in most mixed-league rotations.--Pierre Camus - RotoBaller
