Recent Update

7/3:Aaron Nola’s improved form this season continued tonight as he was brilliant in a victory against the Pittsburgh Pirates, The 24-year-old picked up his third consecutive victory, tossing seven shutout innings, allowing just four hits and one walk while striking out eight. It was Nola’s third consecutive qualify start, as he’s allowed just three runs across his last three starts with 25 strikeouts. Nola’s turnaround can be traced back to his return from the disabled list in late May after a month out with a lower back injury. This victory improves his record to 6-5 on the year while his ERA is back under four at 3.73. Nola’s next start is scheduled for Saturday afternoon as he’ll seek his fourth consecutive victory.--Ricky Delgado - RotoBaller
