Recent Update

11/2:The Boston Red Sox picked up the contract options on starting pitcher Chris Sale and closer Craig Kimbrel on Thursday. The moves are no-brainers, as Sale and Kimbrel were easily Boston's two best pitchers all year. Sale will be high up in the American League Cy Young voting after going 17-8 with a 2.90 ERA, 0.97 WHIP and 308 strikeouts in 214 1/3 innings. He's a top-five fantasy starter going into 2018. Kimbrel was one of the best closers in baseball with a 1.43 ERA, 0.68 WHIP, 126 K's in 69 innings and 35 saves. He will once again be one of the first fantasy closers off the board in next year's drafts.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
