Andy's running back start 'em, sit 'em picks for fantasy football Week 14 lineups (2025). Read his expert RB start/sit advice for Kyle Monangai, RJ Harvey, Woody Marks, others.
The fantasy football regular season has reached the end. In Week 14, managers are either sitting comfortably knowing they have clinched a postseason spot or are fighting for their fantasy lives.
For those managers, getting their lineup decisions right could be the difference between them playing next week or seeing their season cut short.
In this weekly piece, we don't look at those must-start options because if you have them, you start them. Instead, we look at those mid-range RB2/flex options that are on the verge of start territory. Let's take a look at which running backs we should lock into our fantasy lineups and which ones are better off on our bench. Don't see the running back you're looking for? Week 14 Starts - Potential Fantasy Football Booms
Jaylen Warren - Pittsburgh Steelers at Baltimore Ravens
Jaylen Warren has seen his upside take a bit of a dip over the past few weeks, but still enters Week 14 as a must-start RB2. Last weekend, Warren also had a rough showing as the entire Pittsburgh offense stumbled in the loss to Buffalo. However, Warren was able to find the back of the end zone, which saved his fantasy day.
He finished this game with 10 carries for 35 yards and a score and brought in two of his four targets for another nine yards. Despite the modest showing, Warren logged 56% of the snaps in this game, which is a very positive sign, as he was beginning to lose opportunities to Kenneth Gainwell.
During Weeks 10 through 12, Warren exceeded the 50% snap mark and even fell under the 50% mark twice, with a season low of 28% of the snaps back in Week 11. During this three-game stretch, Warren averaged just 10.9 PPR points per game and logged just 14.0 attempts per game.
However, before this brief skid, Warren saw at least 56% of the snaps in all but one of his previous four. Seeing him hit this mark once again in Week 13 is a great sign of his rest-of-season outlook and suggests he is returning to his "lead" role in the backfield.
With a smash matchup against the Ravens, who have allowed the 10th-most PPR points to opposing RBs, Warren is a strong RB2 in all leagues and a high-end RB2 in PPR formats.
RJ Harvey - Denver Broncos at Las Vegas Raiders
After a disappointing showing in his first career start with J.K. Dobbins (knee) on IR, Harvey bounced back nicely on Sunday evening. During their victory over the Commanders, the second-round pick punched in two scores and totaled 35 yards on 13 carries. He was also heavily involved as a pass-catcher, bringing in three of his four targets for another 27 yards.
This was a stark improvement from the 30 yards on 11 attempts he totaled in Week 11 in their upset victory over the Chiefs. In both games, Harvey has been deployed as the clear lead option, as Jaleel McLaughlin has been given the change-of-pace role.
This weekend, Harvey could see a very positive game script as the Broncos take on the struggling Raiders. While the Raiders have allowed he 14th-most PPR points to opposing RBs, placing them near the middle of the pack, Harvey has the opportunity to see nearly 15+ carries, as the Broncos are expected to have a sizable lead in this game.
Start Harvey with confidence as your RB2 this weekend. He has the potential to see a season-high in opportunities.

Chris Rodriguez Jr. - Washington Commanders at Minnesota Vikings
The final RB to start in your lineups is Chris Rodriguez Jr. of the Washington Commanders. Rodriguez has seen his fantasy stock rise over the past month and is nearly in weekly RB2 territory. Last Sunday night, despite a tough Denver defense, Rodriguez delivered a solid showing, totaling 41 yards and a score on just 11 carries.
This was the second week in which he led the Washington backfield. In Week 11, Rodriguez logged 79 yards on 15 carries and brought in his lone target for six yards.
Given Jacory Croskey-Merritt's decline in production and playing time and Jeremy McNichols locked into a third-down/pass-catching role, Rodriguez remains the favorite for not only the early down work but also the goal-line work.
Despite facing a tough Minnesota defense, Rodriguez is a strong RB2 in half-PPR leagues as he should see more than double-digit attempts for the third straight week.

Week 14 Concerns - Potential Fantasy Football Busts
Woody Marks - Houston Texans at Kansas City Chiefs
After spending most of the season in a committee, Marks has finally taken the starting job over Nick Chubb. Since Week 10, Marks has logged more than 65% of the snaps in all but one game. That one game was actually this past Sunday. However, Marks dealt with a foot injury, which kept him sidelined for most of the first half.
However, once he returned, he quickly claimed the lead role and still finished the game with 19 carries for 64 yards.
Over his last four games, Marks has seen 16.8 carries per game but is averaging 9.8 PPR points. During this stretch, the rookie is averaging just 1.5 yards per game and has scored only one touchdown.
With a tough matchup lined up against the Kansas City Chiefs, managers should view Marks as a high-risk flex option. Entering Week 14, the Chiefs have allowed the sixth-fewest PPR points to opposing RBs. While Marks may see enough volume to push for low-end RB2 production, he is at a high risk of disappointing, especially if he cannot find the end zone.
Bam Knight - Arizona Cardinals vs. Los Angeles Rams
With Trey Benson (knee) missing practice this week and once again ruled out, it appears Bam Knight is set to once again lead the Arizona backfield. Even though Michael Carter has logged more snaps than Knight in back-to-back games, Knight has been far more productive for fantasy.
Since Week 11 (three games), Knight has eclipsed double-digit PPR points in all three games and averaged a strong 15.5 PPR points per game. During this stretch, he is only averaging 8.7 attempts per game, but has made the most of his opportunities through the air and in the red zone.
He has brought in 3.7 receptions per game and logged three carries within the 10-yard line and two within the 5-yard line.
Despite this positive usage, managers should view Knight as a high-risk RB2 this weekend. Like Marks, his matchup is far from ideal, facing the potent Los Angeles Rams. While Chuba Hubbard had his way against them last weekend, do not expect the same results from the power-running Knight. The Rams enter this NFC West duel allowing the third-fewest PPR points per game to opposing RBs.
Knight is extremely TD-dependent and will need to convert on his targets to extend his double-digit PPR point streak to four games.

Kyle Monangai - Chicago Bears at Green Bay Packers
The final running back to consider benching this weekend is rookie Kyle Monangai. Monangai enters this game on a four-game TD streak and is gradually carving out a larger role in the backfield. During this four-game stretch, Monangai has logged at least 45% of the snaps in two games and even outsnapped D'Andre Swift once.
Even though he is averaging 12.3 PPR points per game during this four-game surge, he has become reliant on his touchdowns. During this stretch, he has seen only 13.3 attempts per game, which is heavily skewed by his 22-carry effort in Week 13. In Weeks 10 through 12, he had just 10.3 attempts per game.
More importantly, in these three games, he posted a low 3.2 YPC but was able to break out of this slump in Week 13, totaling 130 yards on 22 carries.
Despite him coming off one of his better showings of the season, he is best viewed as a flex option this weekend. On Sunday, he will face the Green Bay Packers, who recently shut down Jahmyr Gibbs on Thanksgiving Day, holding him to just 11.6 PPR points. Facing this Green Bay defense, which has allowed the 10th-fewest PPR points per game to opposing RBs, makes him a high-risk play.
If he struggles with his opportunities as he did in Weeks 10 through 12, expect his recent hot streak to come to a fast halt.
