5 Fantasy Football Bold Predictions - Aidin Ebrahimi's Week 8 Picks (2025)

Bo Nix - Fantasy Football Rankings, Draft Sleepers, NFL DFS Picks

Aidin Ebrahimi's five fantasy football bold predictions for Week 8 of the 2025 NFL season. Expert predictions for Bo Nix, Dak Prescott, Cam Skattebo, and more.

After multiple shocking and exciting Thursday Night Football games in a row, many were excited about this week's Chargers/Vikings TNF game. However, the Chargers didn't slip up and blew out Carson Wentz's Vikings. Justin Herbert has looked way more aggressive than last season, as he currently leads the league in passing yards with 2,140.

Last week's bold predictions article didn't go too well, as Herbert and Daniel Jones both recorded over 20 fantasy points, while Rachaad White and Caleb Williams failed to impress. However, the big win of the week came from Trey McBride's brilliant performance, as he finished as the PPR TE1. Now, we will look at five of my boldest predictions for Week 8. Some of these predictions are bolder than the others, and there's a high chance that none of them will even come to fruition. But hey, what's the fun in going for the obvious picks every single week?

Without further ado, let's look at my five bold predictions for Bo Nix, Dak Prescott, Cam Skattebo, Emeka Egbuka, and Chuba Hubbard.

Editor's Note: The FFPC Baby Gorilla Tournament is now open, featuring a $100,000 grand prize and a $675,450 total prize pool! This 12-team, Tight End Premium contest uses a 20-round draft format, with the overall winners determined by total points scored during Weeks 15–17. Bo Nix will outperform Dak Prescott

The Cowboys have been the kings of excitement this season. Almost every game has been a shootout, and it's easy to see why. The Cowboys lead the league in offensive yards and are dead last in yards allowed, and their offense will have to be on top of its game every single week.

Luckily for them, Prescott has been an MVP candidate so far this season, throwing for 1,881 yards, 16 touchdowns, and just three interceptions with a career-high 107.6 passer rating.

However, the majority of this production has come against the Giants, Jets, and Commanders. The Denver Broncos are coming into this game with one of the best defenses in the league, as they rank in the top three in terms of points and yards allowed per drive.

They slipped up early against the Giants, before Nix went on to have the best fourth quarter of his life, leading his team to an incredible comeback. While Nix hasn't had the best season so far, we must not forget that he had a similarly slow start last season.

82.7% of Nix's touchdown passes in the 2024 season came after Week 7, and he's hoping that his comeback victory will be the start of a season turnaround. What better way to continue your momentum than a game against the worst defense in the league?

Cam Skattebo will dominate the Eagles once again

After four close wins in a row against Super Bowl contenders, the Eagles looked like they were sleepwalking their way to a perfect season.

However, they lost a close game to the Broncos before imploding in spectacular fashion against the Giants, with Skattebo giving Eagles fans nightmares due to his three-touchdown performance.

The defending Super Bowl champions returned to winning ways in Week 7, in a game where Wentz's pick-six proved to be the difference.

The Vikings seemingly abandoned the run late in the game, as they relied on Wentz in 19 out of their last 20 offensive plays in the fourth quarter.

Skattebo has averaged 22 touches per game in his last four games, as he's a huge part of the Giants' rushing and passing game.

Skattebo and Jaxson Dart know that another win against the defending champs will boost their chances of winning the Offensive Rookie of the Year award to the stratosphere, and it feels safer to count on Skattebo to replicate his great Week 6 performance rather than Dart.

Emeka Egbuka will Finish As a top-three WR

Speaking of the Offensive Rookie of the Year race, while Dart and Skattebo have the massive New York media rooting for either of them to win the award, Egbuka has been the most impactful offensive rookie in the league this season.

Egbuka was the PPR WR3 from Week 1 to Week 5, an astonishing achievement for a rookie considering that he performed better than superstars such as Justin Jefferson, Jaxon Smith-Njigba, George Pickens, and Ja'Marr Chase.

Unfortunately, Egbuka suffered a hamstring injury in Week 6 against the 49ers, and although he returned in Week 7 against the Lions, he failed to replicate his previous performances.

However, with Mike Evans and Chris Godwin out and Jalen McMillan yet to return, Egbuka will be Baker Mayfield's main target as the Buccaneers are looking to bounce back against the 1-6 Saints, who rank 27th in defensive points allowed per drive.

Chuba Hubbard will justify his place in the Panthers' run game

"DowdleMania" is taking the league by storm. Rico Dowdle has been the PPR RB3 since Week 5 and has helped the Carolina Panthers win three games in a row to boost their chances of making a playoff push.

Despite his great play, he's still not the team's starting running back, as Chuba Hubbard, who signed a four-year, $33.2 million extension with the team last season, assumed RB1 duties once he returned from injury in Week 7.

Despite not starting, Dowdle outperformed Hubbard once again, and many think he might overtake him for good. However, the Panthers have always wanted to utilize both players equally.

After signing Dowdle in the offseason, GM Dan Morgan referred to his RB room as "a 1-2 punch". Dowdle and Hubbard are looking to dominate a deflated Bills defense (second-most rushing yards allowed this season), and while Dowdle is likely to continue his hot streak, Hubbard also has a great chance to justify his position as the starter in this dynamic duo.
