Quincy's NFL power rankings for all 32 teams heading into Week 5 of 2025. Where does each NFL team stand in our latest power rankings for the 2025 season?
Week 4 finally produced a full slate of great games. Points were abundant, and nail-biters were plentiful. It was a great weekend to be an NFL fan. We got a good look at the truth of some teams. The NFC West looks like a great division, as does the AFC South. No one was counting on those divisions being great to start the season.
Generally, Week 4 marks the first time we are able to fully assess NFL teams. To this point in the season, fluky wins are common, and many teams have not figured themselves out. Now that there is almost a month of tape on opposing teams, preparation is much better.
Now that we are entering the meat of the NFL season, our power rankings are starting to solidify. It is unlikely we will see huge swings up and down the list over the next few weeks. Without further ado, let's dive in and check out where each team stands heading into Week 5.

No. 32: Tennessee Titans
The Titans fell to 0-4 in Week 4 as they were dominated by a questionable Texans team. The Texans' defense dominated the Titans and held them to a shutout. Cameron Ward and co. are searching for answers.
No. 31: New Orleans Saints
The Saints put forth a great effort against the Bills this week, but they simply did not have enough talent to hang with Buffalo for the whole game. Josh Allen and co. were able to blow the game wide open in the second half. The Saints have been scrappy all year, but they are several offensive pieces away from truly competing.
No. 30: Cleveland Browns
The Browns were on the wrong end of another beat-down in Week 4. The Lions took care of business against what is turning out to be a terrible Browns offense this year. We got our first glimpse at rookie quarterback Dillon Gabriel at the end of this game.
No. 29: Las Vegas Raiders
The Raiders dropped a heartbreaker to the Bears in Week 4. During Ashton Jeanty's NFL coming-out party, Las Vegas could not get enough stops to hold off Chicago in the fourth quarter. A last-second go-ahead blocked field goal attempt certainly put a damper on the Raiders' day as well.
No. 28: Carolina Panthers
The Panthers appear poised to live in the cellar of these rankings with another outing in Week 4, in which they were utterly dominated. This team showed so much promise in 2024, but they have completely fallen off from that trajectory. One must wonder how much longer their head coach and their quarterback will last.
No. 27: New York Jets
The Jets struggled in Week 4 against a Dolphins defense that could not stop anyone coming into this week. New head coach Aaron Glenn is still searching for his first win. The Jets have not impressed since their offensive explosion in Week 1.
No. 26: New York Giants
The Giants secured their first win of the season behind the steady play of rookie quarterback Jaxson Dart. Dart looked poised in this game. He managed the game well enough to allow the Giants' defense to take care of business against a red-hot Chargers offense.

No. 25: Cincinnati Bengals
The Bengals cannot stop anyone on defense, and their offense is anemic without quarterback Joe Burrow. The outlook of this team is incredibly bleak at this point. They are one of the most unwatchable teams in the NFL.
No. 24: Miami Dolphins
The Dolphins finally got into the winning column in Week 4. The defense stepped up and held the Jets' offense in check. Unfortunately, the loss of wide receiver Tyreek Hill is a big one for this squad.
No. 23: New England Patriots
The Patriots absolutely manhandled the Panthers in Week 4. Their special teams unit blew the game wide open with several huge returns and a couple of touchdowns. Young quarterback Drake Maye also looked solid once again this week. It was a great team win for New England.
No. 22: Houston Texans
The Texans finally got into the winning column with a huge victory over the Titans. The Texans' defense was impressive as usual. However, it was the offense that gave Houston fans some hope. The Texans were finally able to run the ball. Additionally, quarterback C.J. Stroud was only sacked twice.
No. 21: Atlanta Falcons
The Falcons bounced back in a big way against the Commanders on Sunday. The final score of 34 to 27 was much closer than the truth of the game. The Falcons allowed a couple of late scores but otherwise dominated the game. The passing and running games worked in tandem for the first time all season. It was a much-needed win after Atlanta was shut out in Week 3.
No. 20: Minnesota Vikings
The Vikings dropped a game to the Steelers in Ireland on Sunday morning. Backup quarterback Carson Wentz looked terrible until the fourth quarter. He almost brought the Vikings back from multiple scores down, but the effort was in vain. The Vikings are in a precarious situation with a great division and question marks at quarterback.
No. 19: Dallas Cowboys
The Cowboys put forth a valiant effort against the Packers in Week 4. They hung 40 points on a Packers defense that looked like it was one of the best in the league entering the game. The Cowboys have a quarterback in Dak Prescott who can keep them competitive. However, they lack the overall personnel to be a true playoff contender.

No. 18: Chicago Bears
The Bears are on a little winning streak after a win over the Raiders on Sunday. Quarterback Caleb Williams did a great job of getting the Bears into scoring position and ultimately scored a game-winning touchdown. While the Bears clearly still have a lot to sort out, this is a great confidence win for a young core.

No. 17: Arizona Cardinals
The Cardinals have shown their true colors over the last couple of weeks. They have now dropped two straight losses against quality opponents in the 49ers and Seahawks, respectively. The bright spot of Arizona's Week 4 loss to Seattle is that wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. appeared to re-find some confidence. The Cardinals are shaping up to potentially be the worst team in the NFC West.
No. 16: Jacksonville Jaguars
The Jaguars are suddenly 3-1 in what appears to be a solid AFC South race between Jacksonville and Indianapolis. The Jaguars' defense has certainly arrived. The offense has several kinks to work out, but this defense will keep Jacksonville in just about every game.
No. 15: Indianapolis Colts
The Colts seemed like they were on their way to victory in Los Angeles on Sunday, but Matthew Stafford and Puka Nacua had other plans. Indianapolis still put forth a valiant effort, but quarterback Daniel Jones was exposed a couple of times down the stretch of the game. Time will tell if this team can keep up its winning.
No. 14: Denver Broncos
The Broncos dominated the Bengals this week, especially on defense. This team still needs to get more consistent on offense, but quarterback Bo Nix played solid football on Monday night. They are right back in the mix for the AFC West.
No. 13: San Francisco 49ers
The 49ers lost their first game of the season to the Jaguars on Sunday. San Francisco has played ugly football this year due to a litany of injuries and aging stars. They seem like a candidate to fall down the power rankings as the season wears on. However, they have a great coaching staff, so they could always end up swinging the other way.
No. 12: Washington Commanders
The Commanders lost on Sunday with backup quarterback Marcus Mariota leading the way. Jayden Daniels should be able to return next week, which would be welcome news for a Commanders team that cannot afford to fall too far behind the 4-0 Eagles in the NFC East.
No. 11: Seattle Seahawks
The Seahawks are sitting at 3-1 with an offensive core that is getting more comfortable with each week. The defense is elite, and quarterback Sam Darnold looks like he has truly turned a corner in his career. Watch out for this team in a tight NFC West race to this point in the season.
No. 10: Pittsburgh Steelers
The Steelers find themselves leading the AFC North with the Bengals and Ravens faltering out of the gate. The Steelers are a tricky team to understand. They definitely have improved on offense, but their defense has not played as well as it probably could. Still, Pittsburgh is grinding out wins and is off to a great start this season.

No. 9: Tampa Bay Buccaneers
The Buccaneers had every chance to win against Philadelphia on Sunday, but injuries to their offensive line and mental mistakes by their stars held them back. Multiple fourth-quarter turnovers stunted any chance of a complete comeback. Tampa Bay looks like a rock-solid team, but they need to get out of the habit of taking games all the way down to the wire.
No. 8: Baltimore Ravens
The Ravens are in dire straits. They are sitting at 1-3 with a potential injury to quarterback Lamar Jackson. Baltimore's defense has also been a liability this year. With another loss or two, Baltimore is going to plummet down these rankings.
No. 7: Green Bay Packers
The Packers have staggered during the last couple of weeks. After inexplicably dropping a loss to the Browns in Week 3, they tied a short-handed Cowboys team in Week 4. Perhaps they are not the Super Bowl contender we thought them to be.
No. 6: Los Angeles Rams
The Rams appeared to be on their way to a loss on Sunday against the Colts, but Stafford worked his magic under center and guided this team to a victory. Los Angeles looks like one of the great teams in the NFL this season. They are a true Super Bowl contender.

No. 5: Los Angeles Chargers
The Chargers lost a nail-biter to the Giants on Sunday. The loss allowed the Chiefs to keep pace with Los Angeles in the AFC West. The Chargers are definitely a different team this season, but they cannot afford to lose these winnable games. The injuries to the Chargers' offensive line are certainly concerning.
No. 4: Kansas City Chiefs
The Chiefs looked like they were back in style on Sunday. They dropped 37 points on the Ravens in a statement win at Arrowhead Stadium. With wide receiver Rashee Rice's return on the horizon, the rest of the league needs to be on watch. At 2-2, the Chiefs are as dangerous as anyone in the NFL.

No. 3: Detroit Lions
The Lions dominated the Browns from the opening kick on Sunday. This game was not even a contest, with the Lions doing whatever they wanted against a previously heralded Browns defense. The Lions have put their Week 1 embarrassment at the hands of the Packers behind them. Look out for Detroit moving forward.
No. 2: Philadelphia Eagles
Philadelphia is squeaking out wins this season. They have yet to fully dominate a game in the way they did in 2024. The Eagles' 4-0 record speaks for itself, but this team is not as well-positioned for a Super Bowl run as it was in 2024.
No. 1: Buffalo Bills
The Bills continue to roll through their competition. They began their Week 4 game against the Saints slowly, but they turned it on in the second half. The Bills are certainly an early front-runner to represent the AFC in the Super Bowl this year.
