NBA DFS: Top Daily Fantasy Expert Picks for DraftKings, FanDuel (5/10/25)

Jalen Brunson - NBA DFS Lineup Picks, Daily Fantasy Basketball

Free daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for today's slate on DraftKings and FanDuel. Use Thunder Dan's NBA DFS expert picks to building winning DFS lineups on May 10, 2025.

It's a huge Saturday in the NBA with two more incredibly important playoff games on the docket. Both games tonight are the third game in their respective series, with the Knicks holding a surprising 2-0 lead over the Celtics, and the Wolves-Warriors series being tied 1-1.

The big injury news surrounds the Warriors as Stephen Curry will miss tonight's game and probably another one or two games at least, as he was ruled out for a week. The Warriors are at home, but we were routed by Minnesota in game two without Curry. Meanwhile, the Celtics find themselves on the road in New York in a must-win situation similar to where Cleveland was last night. The Cavs were able to bounce back with a win, and Boston will need to do the same in this game.

This article will provide my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for FanDuel and DraftKings on Saturday, 5/10/25. Remember to monitor NBA injury news and our excellent NBA injuries report tool, as the slate can completely change before lineups lock at 3:30 p.m.

Today's NBA DFS Core Picks

Anthony Edwards, MIN -  SG/SF ($9.8K DK, $9.8K FD)

We usually start on a two-game slate by trying to lock in the top raw points play of the evening, and I think that's probably Anthony Edwards. Ant has been awesome so far in the playoffs and has already posted 52 and 47 DK points in the first two games of this series as well.

He got up 22 shots in the Game 1 loss, but was much more efficient in Game 2, needing just 13 attempts to score 20 points, and he got to sit out the final minutes as the Wolves cruised to an easy win.

If we are predicting a close game tonight, then I think we get a ceiling game from Ant for the first time in this series. He's one of the best young scorers in the game, and the Warriors are at a bit of a loss in terms of finding someone who can guard him consistently. He's going to get his, whether his shot is dropping or not, as he's been able to get to the free-throw line consistently, and he's adding a lot of fantasy value with his defense, too, averaging three steals and one block per game in the series.

Brandin Podziemski, GSW – PG/SG ($5.1K DK, $5.8K FD)

My logic here is simple. Podz is way too cheap for his increased role with Curry out. You could argue for Jimmy Butler here, but he's been priced up considerably on both sites. And while Butler has a massive ceiling if we get a vintage Jimmy Buckets game, Podz has more point-per-dollar appeal to me, and it's not easy to find value on these slates.

Podz played 33 minutes in Game 2, posting 31 DK points on an 11-6-6 line. He's a plus rebounder at the position,n and he sees an uptick in assists when Curry is out as he has the ball in his hands much more often. At some point, he's going to need to be more aggressive on offense, too. I think he's good for 6x value here with room to do a lot more if he can get into any kind of rhythm on offense.

Others To Consider: Mikal Bridges, NYK - SG/SF, Jimmy Butler III, GSW - SF/PF

Today's NBA DFS Pivots

Jalen Brunson, NYK – PG ($8K DK, $8.5K FD)

Brunson came up big for the Knicks in their Game 1 win, finishing with 29 points and some clutch buckets down the stretch. However, he struggled from the floor in Game 2, hitting just 6-19 from the floor and going 2-9 from behind the arc.

If the Knicks are going to win this series, they have to win one of the next two games at home, it's really that simple. Madison Square Garden will be rocking today for Game 3 and Brunson is going to be the driving force for this Knicks offense once again.

Jrue Holiday and Derrick White are very solid on-ball defenders, but Brunson is about as crafty as they come. The Knicks will also scheme to get him into plenty of pick-and-rolls to get mismatches, too. We know Boston is going to try to take away Brunson and Towns first and force the other Knicks to beat them, but I am not sure they'll be able to contain Brunson for a second straight game. He has 50+ fantasy point upside as long as the Knicks are competitive, and I think they will be.

Derrick White, BOS – PG/SG ($6.6K DK, $7.2K FD)

White has been the most consistent Boston player in this series. He's known for his defense and elite three-point shooting, but he's been all over the boards, too, collaring 20 rebounds through the first two games.

His price hasn't fully adjusted to his production yet, as he's gone for 42 and 44 DK points in the first two games. I think he's a great target in the mid-tier based on how many minutes he's playing and his incredible shot volume (he's attempted 27 threes so far in the series).

The blocks and steals play well on FanDuel, too, where they are worth three points each. White is a safe play with a lot of upside, especially if his three-point shot starts falling more regularly.

Others To Consider: Jayson Tatum, BOS - SF/PF, Josh Hart, NYK - SF/PF

Today's NBA DFS Value Picks

Jrue Holiday, BOS - PG/SG ($5.3 DK, $5.4K FD)

Every year, Holiday lulls us to sleep by taking a backseat to the other players on his team. He did this in Milwaukee, and he's done it in Boston, sacrificing his stats and being content to be the floor general and defender that his team needs instead of a big-time scorer.

But there's always a "Playoff Jrue" sighting this time of year and a game where Holiday feels like his team needs him to step up and be more aggressive. That may come today as the Knicks have been able to stifle both Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum (to an extent) in this series.

Naz Reid, MIN - PF/C ($4.7K DK, $5.2K FD)

Reid is an easy play for me; he's an elite per-minute producer and has a mismatch against the Warriors and their thin frontcourt. Rudy Gobert is cheap, too, but Reid is the guy I like for his elite offensive role with the second unit.

Jonathan Kuminga, GSW – SF/PF ($4.2K DK, $4.4K FD)

Kuminga was not involved much in Game 1, but with Curry out last time, he saw 26 minutes of action in Game 2 and finished with 25 DK points. He will probably be a popular punt play today as a result, but it's hard to argue against it.

The Warriors need offense in the worst way, and despite Kuminga's other flaws, he is one guy who can come in and get buckets with the second unit.

Others to Consider: Buddy Hield, GSW - SG/SF, Trayce Jackson-Davis, GSW - PF/C, Nickeil Alexander-Walker, MIN - SG/SF
