Week 3 Waiver Wire Pickups - Wan'Dale Robinson, Elic Ayomanor, Quentin Johnston Fantasy Football Outlooks

Quentin Johnston - Fantasy Football Rankings, Draft Sleepers, NFL DFS Lineup Picks

Week 3 fantasy football waiver wire pickups for Wan'Dale Robinson, Elic Ayomanor, Quentin Johnston in 2025. Read their waiver wire outlooks for fantasy football.

Through the first two weeks of the season, many depth receivers have emerged as key parts of their offense. Despite opening the season in a lower role, they have emerged as key parts of their team's passing attacks and have been among the most productive players in fantasy at their position.

In this piece, we will take a look at the wide receivers, Wan'Dale Robinson, Elic Ayomanor, and Quentin Johnston.

So, should you pick up Robinson, Ayomanor, and Johnston in your fantasy football leagues for Week 3 of 2025? Let's dive in.

Be sure to check all of our fantasy football rankings for 2025:

Wan'Dale Robinson Week 3 Waiver Wire Pickups

Rostered: 25% of Leagues

Baller Move: Add in 12-team Leagues

Throughout his first two seasons in the NFL (2022 and 2023), Robinson primarily held a depth role in the New York passing catching room. In 2024, Robinson began to carve out a more prominent role, tallying 699 yards and three touchdowns on 93 receptions.

However, the former second-round pick appears to have taken a significant step forward this season and has claimed the No. 2 spot, opposite of Malik Nabers.

In Week 1, Robinson caught eight targets for 55 yards. In this game, the Giants struggled to move downfield against Washington, but Robinson was still able to turn in a solid fantasy day. However, in Week 2, Robison emerged as a key contributor to the passing attack.

In their loss to the Cowboys, Robinson caught eight of his 10 targets for 142 yards and a score. While he was overshadowed by Nabers, who found the back of the end zone twice, Robinson still posted elite numbers, which suggests he could co-exist in this offense, despite being the clear second option.

Given Russell Wilson's solid improvement in the second week, Robinson appears to be on track to enjoy a career year, serving as the primary slot option in the offense. With the Giants likely playing from behind most weeks, they will continue to push the ball downfield, which will benefit Robinson.

Given his dominant showing in Week 2, he is worth adding in all 12-team formats ahead of a Week 3 tilt against the Kansas City Chiefs.

Elic Ayomanor Week 3 Waiver Wire Pickups

Rostered: 10% of Leagues

Baller Move: Add in 12+ team 3-WR leagues

The Titans' passing attack struggled in Week 1 but began to find its footing in Week 2. During their Week 1 loss to the Denver Broncos, rookie QB Cam Ward threw for just 112 yards. In this contest, fourth-round rookie Ayomanor saw seven targets, but was only able to bring in two of them for 13 yards.

While he was unable to make an impact in the box score in Week 1, his high target share suggested better days were coming. In Week 2, Ayomanor and their offense took a step forward in their loss to the Rams. In this contest, the rookie caught four of his six targets for 56 yards and a score.

More importantly, Ayomanor was able to match the top wideout Calvin Ridley's targets. In this contest, Ayomanor clearly established himself as the No. 2 option in the passing attack as veteran Tyler Lockett saw only three targets.

Seeing that Ward has already begun to show signs of improvement in just two games (while facing elite defensive units), Ayomanor could emerge as a high-end WR3 later in the season.

For now, he is worth adding to all 12+ team formats that require three starting wide receivers. Although he has not entered must-roster territory, another strong showing in Week 3 could push him into that status. The Tennessee offense is on an upward trajectory, and that will only benefit Ayomanor.

Quentin Johnston Week 3 Waiver Wire Pickups

Rostered: 60% of Leagues

Baller Move: Add In All Leagues

Los Angeles Chargers wide receiver Quentin Johnston has flashed upside at times throughout his career, but has rarely produced consistently. However, through the first two weeks of the 2025 season, it appears the former first-round pick has taken a significant step forward in his development.

In Week, Johnston led the way in the passing attack, catching five passes (seven targets) for 79 yards and two scores. Then in Week 2, Johnston continued to find success, catching three of his seven targets for 71 yards and a touchdown. Most of his production came on a 60-yard TD pass from Justin Herbert.

Despite playing in a crowded WR room that welcomed back longtime Charger Keenan Allen, Johnston has still produced elite WR2 numbers in back-to-back weeks. While he sits third on the depth chart, Herbert has been able to sustain all three of his wide receivers, and each has enjoyed a solid start to the season.

While Johnston will likely see the fewest overall targets this season (in relation to Allen and Ladd McConkey), given his ability to emerge as the team's only deep threat, he should be viewed as a must-roster in all formats. Both Allen and McConkey find success in the middle of the field, which will allow Johnston to find high success downfield.

Even though there may be games where Johnston is relatively quiet, given his ability to draw high-quality targets, he is worth rostering in all formats ahead of a Week 3 matchup against the Denver Broncos.
