Dynasty Fantasy Football Mock Draft: 12-Team, PPR, Superflex Dynasty Leagues (2025)

Five Fantasy Football Overvalued Quarterbacks

Dynasty fantasy football NFL mock draft - 2025 fantasy football 12-team, PPR, superflex leagues. Draft these NFL players in your fantasy football dynasty leagues.

Are you looking to take part in a start-up Superflex dynasty fantasy football league? Know that quarterbacks are kings but those early selections push the best running backs and receivers down the board, allowing a wide variety of drafting strategies.

Today, we're going to do a two-round mock draft. It's a 12-team, full PPR, Superflex, start-up mock draft. There is no tight-end premium.

Follow RotoBaller on X and check out RotoBaller.com for all your dynasty fantasy football needs. Let's dive into the mock draft.

Editor's Note: The FFPC Baby Gorilla Tournament is now open, featuring a $100,000 grand prize and a $675,450 total prize pool! This 12-team, Tight End Premium contest uses a 20-round draft format, with the overall winners determined by total points scored during Weeks 15–17. Round 1 Mock Draft

1.01 - Josh Allen, QB, Buffalo Bills

QB1, QB1, QB2, QB1, QB2.

Those are Josh Allen's fantasy finishes over the last five seasons. His sustained excellence contributed to his first NFL MVP trophy. Allen turns 29 years old during the offseason and has several more seasons of fantasy football gold in him.

1.02 - Lamar Jackson, QB, Baltimore Ravens

There's no faulting a fantasy manager who prefers Lamar Jackson to Allen. 2024's QB1 is a two-time MVP, three-time All-Pro, and has rushed for at least 760 yards every season since his rookie year. Jackson, like his 2018 NFL Draft counterpart, is in the middle of his prime years.

1.03 - Jayden Daniels, QB, Washington Commanders

The risk of Jayden Daniels is we've only seen him succeed at the professional level once. The reward is that he's fresh off a QB5 finish in his first season and 24 years old. Fantasy managers could get an extra 4-5 years of productivity versus Allen or Jackson.

1.04 - Ja'Marr Chase, WR, Cincinnati Bengals

Ja'Marr Chase won the receiving triple crown (just the sixth time in the Super Bowl era) last season, leading in catches, yards, and touchdowns. The former first-round pick has recorded at least 1,000 yards in all four of his professional campaigns. He'll be 25 years old next season and is linked with Joe Burrow for years to come. He's the best receiver available once the quarterback options become riskier.

1.05 - Justin Jefferson, WR, Minnesota Vikings

The former All-Pro proved he can produce with anyone from Kirk Cousins to Sam Darnold to Nick Mullens under center. Like the Allen and Jackson argument, fantasy managers could prefer Justin Jefferson to his former LSU teammate.

1.06 - Joe Burrow, QB, Cincinnati Bengals

Joe Burrow is one of the rare quarterbacks who consistently rack up fantasy points with minimal rushing production. The two-time Comeback Player of the Year finished as the QB8, QB4, and QB3 in his three healthy seasons, averaging 192 rushing yards.

1.07 - Jalen Hurts, QB, Philadelphia Eagles

The opposite of Burrow, Jalen Hurts does his damage on the ground. The reigning Super Bowl MVP threw for fewer than 3,000 yards in 2024. However, he's tallied double-digit rushing touchdowns in four straight seasons with at least 600 yards. The Tush Push doesn't appear to be going anywhere, and Hurts will continue to plunge into the endzone.

1.08 - CeeDee Lamb, WR, Dallas Cowboys

No Dak Prescott, no problem.

CeeDee Lamb managed a WR5 finish without his starting quarterback for most of the season and navigating a shoulder injury of his own that cost him two games and portions of others. The low touchdown number should rebound in 2025. The 26-year-old has plenty of WR1 seasons ahead of him.

1.09 - Malik Nabers, WR, New York Giants

Malik Nabers broke New York's franchise record for receptions in a season as a rookie. He also broke the NFL's rookie record for receptions in a season, only to be bested by Las Vegas tight end Brock Bowers. Get this man a reliable quarterback and the sky is the limit.

1.10 - Patrick Mahomes, QB, Kansas City Chiefs

A year ago (and the year before that, and the year before that) Patrick Mahomes was the easiest first-overall selection in 2QB and Superflex formats. He averaged 21 to 25 fantasy points per game (depending on the year) back then. He's now posted back-to-back 17 PPG campaigns as the Chiefs win with defense and a methodical offensive attack.

1.11 - Amon-Ra St. Brown, WR, Detroit Lions

Early season inconsistency left a sour taste in the mouths of Amon-Ra St. Brown's fantasy managers, who selected him in the first round. If a WR3 finish (half-PPR) is a disappointment, then there are a lot of sad managers in the world. He's WR8, WR3, and WR3 in that format in the last three seasons.

1.12 - Brian Thomas Jr., WR, Jacksonville Jaguars

Brian Thomas Jr. finished as the WR4 in his first professional season despite the disaster in Jacksonville. Trevor Lawrence got hurt, and the offense averaged fewer than 19 points per game. Thomas could be even better with a healthy franchise quarterback and a new offensive system under former Tampa Bay OC Liam Coen.

Round 2 Mock Draft

2.01 - Jahmyr Gibbs, RB, Detroit Lions

Only 23 years old, Jahmyr Gibbs is still ascending. He caught 52 passes for the second consecutive season, led the league with 16 rushing touchdowns, and racked up 1,412 rushing yards on 5.6 yards per attempt. The most encouraging part of his 2024 season was demonstrating the ability to be a workhorse running back in David Montgomery's absence.

2.02 - Bijan Robinson, RB, Atlanta Falcons

Overshadowed by Gibbs and Saquon Barkley, Bijan Robinson quietly had a season that met and exceeded his draft capital. Head coach Raheem Morris gave Robinson more responsibility than his predecessor. Robinson responded with 1,887 scrimmage yards and 15 scores. The former Texas Longhorn just turned 23 years old. He'll be an RB1 for the foreseeable future.

2.03 - Puka Nacua, WR, Los Angeles Rams

There were doubts about Puka Nacua last season despite a record-breaking rookie year. While injury concerns flared up in year two, he upped his receptions and yards per game averages. The fifth-round NFL draft capital doesn't matter anymore. Nacua is a star wide receiver.

2.04 - Caleb Williams, QB, Chicago Bears

The first pick in the 2024 NFL Draft struggled to develop behind a mediocre offensive line and offensive unoriginality. He also habitually held onto the football too long in the pocket. While the rookie-season struggles were well-documented, Williams has the talent to be a QB1. Offensive-minded head coach Ben Johnson should help Williams meet his expectations.

2.05 - Drake Maye, QB, New England Patriots

Drake Maye surprised fantasy managers with a steady rushing baseline. Maye averaged 37 rushing yards per game (excluding Week 18) and proved he can make any throw. Once the supporting cast improves (Hunter Henry was his leading receiver in 2024), Maye will be an annual QB1. There's nowhere to go but up for the second-year signal caller.

2.06 - C.J. Stroud, QB, Houston Texans

How will C.J. Stroud fare in a Sean McVay system? The Texans brought in offensive coordinator Nick Caley from Los Angeles after a tumultuous offensive output from Stroud in his second season. It should help the former Ohio State Buckeye rebound in year three.

However, he still doesn't run often and needs a near-perfect passing campaign to be a QB1. He led the league in passing yards per game in his rookie season (among quarterbacks with at least 10 starts) and still finished as the QB10 in points per game.

2.07 - Justin Herbert, QB, Los Angeles Chargers

Will the idea of Justin Herbert match the reality again? The soon-to-be 27-year-old hasn't been a top-10 fantasy quarterback since 2021. Los Angeles' successful 2024 campaign was more about winning than eye-popping statistics. He was outside of QB1 territory for more weeks than in it. Still, he's entering his prime and will be a starting quarterback for the rest of his career. That's valuable in Superflex formats.

2.08 - Nico Collins, WR, Houston Texans

Nico Collins finished 2024 as the WR8 in points per game (23rd overall due to 4.5 missed games). He was off to a sizzling start when the other Houston receivers (Stefon Diggs and Tank Dell) were healthy. The team should bring in new receivers, but the new offensive scheme should feature Collins as the alpha.

2.09 - Bo Nix, QB, Denver Broncos

Bo Nix entered the NFL as an older prospect (he'll be 25 when his second season begins) but his experience helped build a surprisingly successful first year. He's a runner (430 yards) who will improve his consistency through the air when Denver adds top-end receiver talent.

2.10 - Ashton Jeanty, RB, TBD

Drafting a rookie this high can be intimidating (especially if making picks before the NFL Draft). There's a lengthy history of Doak Walker Award winners succeeding in the NFL (Bryce Love and D'Onta Foreman are the only two who haven't seen fantasy football success in the last decade). Jeanty is likely to have an explosive, multi-year career wherever he lands.

2.11 - Saquon Barkley, RB, Philadelphia Eagles

Fresh off a historic 2024 campaign in which Barkley totaled the most combined rushing yards (regular and postseason) and a Super Bowl victory, Barkley will be a top-three selection in redraft leagues. However, he turned 28 on Super Bowl Sunday and may only have one to two more RB1 campaigns left in his legs.

2.12 - Brock Purdy, QB, San Francisco 49ers

One of the biggest offseason storylines is the looming extension for Brock Purdy. The 49ers are expected to give him a massive pay raise to officially make him the franchise quarterback. Purdy also showed off rushing prowess last year to boost his fantasy scores.
