Austin Simmons Listed As Game-Time Decision Against Arkansas
Ole Miss quarterback Austin Simmons (ankle) is a game-time decision for Saturday night's game against Arkansas. Simmons was in a walking boot this week, but carried no designation on the SEC injury report by the end of the week. His snaps ramped up in practice throughout the week, but ultimately, the sophomore will be a game-time decision. If he can't go, backup and Ferris State transfer Trinidad Chambliss would play in his place. Simmons has been shaky through his first two starts, throwing for 576 yards, three touchdowns, and four interceptions. If he can't go tonight, his next chance to play will be next Saturday against Tulane.
