Amon-Ra St. Brown 2024 Outlook: Safe and High-End Floor
7 months agoThree straight 90-catch seasons culminated in a 1,500-yard, 10-touchdown effort in 2024. That's good for any wide receiver, let alone one originally drafted in the fourth round in 2021. Now armed with a well-deserved $120 million contract extension, Amon-Ra St. Brown will seek to repeat or improve upon his All-Pro season from a year ago. Another season as the WR3 won't be a disappointment, even if he's unable to boost his numbers for the fourth-straight campaign. St. Brown remains the center of attention in the concentrated Detroit Lions' aerial attack. He (164) and tight end Sam LaPorta (120) were the only Lions to earn more than 70 targets in 2023. Josh Reynolds, now a member of the Broncos, finished third with 64. Jameson Williams may finally take a step forward in 2024, but that may only open more opportunities for St. Brown underneath. Jared Goff will often have eyes for his All-Pro receiver, making there little reason to shy away from St. Brown in the first round of fantasy football drafts.
