DraftKings CFB DFS Lineup Picks: Daily College Fantasy Football Saturday Evening Slate (9/13/25)

Jeremiah Smith - College Football Rankings, NCAA CFB DFS Lineup Picks, NFL Draft

Mike Marteny's DraftKings daily fantasy college football lineup picks for the Saturday (9/13/25) evening slate in Week 3. His CFB DFS lineup picks and DFS sleepers will help you win.

We are getting spoiled with these loaded primetime slates this season. I love it! Our seven games tonight have a lot of different storylines. Ohio State and Ohio. Darian Mensah is returning to Tulane with an extra $4 million in his pocket. The Aggies are visiting South Bend. Florida in Death Valley. We have it all!

That doesn't even include Mississippi and Arkansas. Vanderbilt and South Carolina are also on this slate. The only marginally uninteresting game is Western Michigan and Illinois. This might be the best slate we have had so far this year!

In this article, I will provide you with my daily fantasy college football lineup picks for the evening DraftKings slate on 9/13/25, starting at 7 pm Eastern. I’ll give multiple player suggestions for players at quarterback, running back, and wide receiver, aiming to highlight one option at the salary scale's high, middle, and lower end. Good luck, RotoBallers.

DraftKings CFB DFS Picks - Quarterbacks

Julian Sayin, Ohio State ($8K)

We don't have cake matchups on this slate, so finding point-per-dollar value is more important than cramming in studs. I'm rolling with Sayin because he doesn't make mistakes, which is really strange to say about a freshman.

Sayin's only incompletion against Grambling was his only interception so far this season. Ohio's defense has looked nasty so far. They're going to get after Sayin...if they can get to him. The Ohio State offensive line hasn't allowed Sayin to be sacked yet.

We have a quarterback whose line is keeping him upright, who doesn't make mistakes. The ceiling isn't extraordinarily high, but the floor is worth paying for on this slate.

Taylen Green, Arkansas ($6.9K)

I know that the Mississippi defense is tough, but there's no reason for Green to be this cheap. The Rebels have allowed 363 rushing yards in the first two games. Green has 192 rushing yards in the first two games.

Green is likely to get enough rushing yards to offset any passing mistakes. His ceiling is the highest scorer on the slate. It's very rare to find that for under $7K, and the floor isn't even that low. Sign me up!

Jake Retzlaff, Tulane ($6.2K)

We saw Luke Altmyer have a good game against Duke in Durham last week. Retzlaff isn't quite as polished as Altmyer, but the skill is there. Retzlaff has at least 20 DK points in both games so far and topped 30 against Northwestern. I'll say he hits 20 here as well.

Also consider: Luke Altmyer, Illinois ($7.1K); Marcel Reed, Texas A&M ($6.7K); Diego Pavia, Vanderbilt ($6.5K); CJ Carr, Notre Dame ($5K)

DraftKings CFB DFS Picks - Running Backs

Jeremiyah Love, Notre Dame ($8.5K)

Not many will turn to Love after he was underutilized and ineffective against Miami. The Aggies allowed 203 rushing yards to UTSA in the opener, who have a talented back in Robert Henry Jr. Love is better than Henry.

I expect the Irish to re-establish the ground game through Love and Jadarian Price. We should see a lot more carries and a lot more success for Love in this one.

Kewan Lacy, Mississippi ($7.6K)

This may be a slate to pay up for running backs. The Ole Miss offense runs through Lacy right now due to some lapses from Austin Simmons. Lacy had 29 touches against Kentucky. He'll likely approach that number against Arkansas as well.

Lacy is an elite volume play and has the massive upside to go with it. He has also scored four touchdowns in two games. Even though this is a tougher matchup, he's going to get there.

Sedrick Alexander, Vanderbilt ($4.7K)

This is another volume play. Alexander still mustered 73 yards on the Virginia Tech defense, but the two touchdowns carried his fantasy value. It's going to be tough sledding against South Carolina, but Alexander is a good bet to find the end zone. He has three times in two games.

Also consider: Kaden Feagin, Illinois ($7.3K); Mike Washington Jr., Arkansas ($5.9K); Jaquez Moore, Duke ($5.1K); Zuberi Mobley, Tulane ($4.1K)

DraftKings CFB DFS Picks - Wide Receivers

Jeremiah Smith, Ohio State ($9K)

Ohio State was firing on all cylinders against Grambling. It will be a little tougher against Ohio, but that only means good things for DFS. The starters may stay in longer.

Smith racked up 119 yards and a pair of touchdowns in the first half. If he plays three quarters or more, we could get even more production out of him.

Harrison Wallace III, Mississippi ($6.5K)

Maybe it's just the Penn State offense that is the death of receivers. Wallace has topped 100 yards in both games in Oxford, with at least one reception of over 40 yards in each game.

The Rebels are going to have to use the receivers to win this game. I prefer going straight to the receivers for production, so I don't have to worry about whether Simmons is going to get interception-happy.

KC Concepcion, Texas A&M ($5.7K)

I have mentioned the progress of Marcel Reed this year, but it is worth noting that Concepcion's arrival has helped immensely. Concepcion has three touchdowns in two games already. He is clearly the alpha receiver for the Aggies and could have a big game against the Irish.

Mario Craver is a great option as well, but I don't know that he gets loose on the Notre Dame secondary like he did against Utah State. Still, Craver's targets are up there with Concepcion's. I'll have at least one lineup with Reed/Concepcion/Craver.

Eli Stowers, Vanderbilt ($4.3K)

Stowers has been the favorite target of Diego Pavia since he got to Nashville. Stowers isn't likely to break a long touchdown, but he's a good bet to get five points on receptions alone. He'll be a big target in the red zone for Vandy as well.

Jordan Faison, Notre Dame ($3.3K)

Faison led the team in targets against Miami. He hauled in five passes for 33 yards and a score in that one. If he can do that against Miami, I feel good about using him against the Aggies, especially at a discounted price.

Also consider: Aaron Anderson, LSU ($7.1K); O'Mega Blake, Arkansas ($5.8K); Andrel Anthony, Duke ($5.4K); Hank Beatty, Illinois ($4.9K); Eli Raridon, Notre Dame ($4K)

DraftKings CFB Stacks

Illinois

This is not going to be a close game, and I'm a little surprised at the pricing on the Illini. I'll have plenty of Altmyer at $7.1K, even in non-stacked lineups. Kaden Feagin should get most of the first-team carries, but keep an eye on the status of Aidan Laughery. He did practice yesterday, but Illinois has no reason to push him in this matchup.

If Laughery is out, Ca'Lil Valentine is in play at just $3.4K. Don't mess with the higher-priced Illinois receivers. Justin Bowick and Hank Beatty are the guys you want and make for a nice stack with Altmyer/Feagin.

Ohio State

I struggle with this because the Buckeyes are EXPENSIVE and the Ohio defense is solid. A Sayin/Smith/Carnell Tate/CJ Donaldson stack only leaves $17.1K left for the other four positions.

It's doable thanks to some decent value on the slate, and I can guarantee you that most entries will not have all four. If the game stays close, this stack could absolutely take down a GPP.

Also consider: Tulane, Arkansas, Texas A&M (GPP only)
