Rasmus Andersson Stays in Vegas on Seven-Year Deal
Vegas Golden Knights defenseman Rasmus Andersson has agreed to a seven-year, $59.5 million contract extension, ESPN's Ryan S. Clark reports. Andersson played the previous six seasons on a $27.3 million deal, skating with the Calgary Flames before moving to Vegas in January. He recorded 17 points (seven goals, 10 assists), 66 SOG, and 59 blocks in 33 appearances with the Golden Knights. While Andersson's usage took a hit in Vegas, he remained productive on both ends of the ice. His two-way ability makes Andersson an outstanding fantasy option.
