Christian Watson fantasy football start 'em, sit 'em picks for Week 7 (2024). Our advice on whether you should start or sit Watson for your fantasy lineups.
BALLER MOVE: Start Watson if you are in 3-WR leagues with multiple flex spots or have starters on a bye
POSITIONAL VALUE: WR3/WR4
ANALYSIS: After showing some flashes as a rookie in 2022, Watson has been largely inconsistent while dealing with his share of injuries. He faces stiff competition for targets each week in a talented wide receiver room in Green Bay which features the likes of Jayden Reed, Romeo Doubs, and Dontayvion Wicks.
Last week, Watson had his best finish on the season as the WR19 in half-PPR formats with four receptions for 68 yards and a touchdown.
His share of the spotlight included 12.5% of the targets, a hefty 36% of the team's air yards, a respectable 3.09 yards per route run, and he tied for the second spot in being the quarterback's first read 15% of the time.

While the potential is there, this week might be a good time to bench Watson. He’s up against a Houston secondary that’s middle of the pack (16th in the league) to be precise in giving up yards to receivers like him on the perimeter. The Texans also lean heavily on single-high safety looks, cranking it up 58.3% of the time, the eighth highest in the league.
