Tennessee Linebacker Jaedon Harmon Will Miss Entire 2026 Season
Tennessee linebacker Jaedon Harmon (knee) has suffered a torn ACL and will miss the entire 2026 campaign, according to Austin Price of Volquest.com. The Georgia native suffered the injury during Saturday's practice. The Vols will already be without All-SEC linebacker Arion Carter due to a two-game suspension, so this is another tough blow for Jim Knowles' defense. That said, Harmon was likely to play a reserve role as a sophomore. As a true freshman, he tallied 19 total tackles, half a sack, half a tackle for loss, and one pass deflection, but he was a key special-teams player. Young linebackers Jadon Perlotte, Edwin Spillman, and Tre Poteat III will have to step up behind starters Amare Campbell and Jeremiah Telander early in the year.
