Thunder Dan's fantasy basketball waiver wire pickups for Week 10 of the 2025-26 NBA season. Consider these players as fantasy basketball adds, streamers, and stashes.

We've made it through the funky scheduling created by the NBA Cup, and we only have one more day without any games to navigate this week, as the NBA, as usual, takes Christmas Eve off entirely.

With only one team playing twice this week and nearly half the league playing four times, there is no shortage of pick-ups and streamers available.

We also saw some more injuries happen this weekend, while other injured stars still remain out, and their absence creates opportunities for other players to thrive.  Let's dive into the schedule and then get right to the picks, shall we?

Week 10 Schedule Breakdown (12/22 to 12/28)

Schedule Highlights

• Only one team (BKN) plays two games this week.
• 12 teams play a Back-to-Back to open the week on Monday and Tuesday.
• No games on Christmas Eve!
• The most valuable Back-to-Back later in the week is the Saturday-Sunday combo (SAC).

Standard League Adds - Fantasy Basketball Waiver Wire for Week 10

Percent owned numbers for Yahoo! "Standard Leagues" refer to 10- or 12-team leagues.

I am going back to 25% or lower as the cutoff again this week, with 10% or below being right around where I draw the line between standard league and deep league adds.

Tre Jones - PG/SG (22%)

A lot of the sexiest pickups for this week are now over 25% rostered, and you probably don't need me to tell you to grab Maxime Raynaud or Cam Spencer anymore. So let's focus on a few of the less sexy, but very solid players who are more widely available instead.

Jones is healthy once again and has played anywhere from 22 to 25 minutes in his last five games. He's not putting up huge numbers, but he's providing some very solid production in assists, steals, and percentages. He doesn't take a lot of shots or get to the line all that often, so the bump in percentages is fairly small, but you could argue it's the lack of NEGATIVE contribution in those categories (as well as just 1.5 turnovers per game) that make him even more valuable since most guards who hand out 5+ assists are going to be net negatives in FG% and turnovers.

Naji Marshall - SF/PF (21%)

This isn't the first time I have tried to hype up Naji Marshall, but since he hasn't graduated out of our cutoff of 25% just yet, I guess I will just have to do it again!

I just don't know what there isn't to like about Marshall and his game. He's not going to give you many threes or blocks, but he's a huge positive in scoring, steals, percentages, and turnovers. I guess he's a lot like Jones in a way, but with better counting stats as he's been starting in Dallas and playing over 30 minutes a night.

Isaiah Stewart - PF/C (19%)

Beef Stew should be back on your radar! If you didn't notice, he's posted some pretty good numbers over his last five games and has seen his playing time tick up as Tobias Harris fades into oblivion.

If Stewart is going to get run at both center and power forward and play minutes next to Jalen Duren, he belongs on standard league rosters. He's now up to 1.9 blocks per game, and you could argue he's worth rostering for the blocks alone, but he's also chipping in 1.0 made threes and 6.2 boards.

Bub Carrington - PG/SG (18%)

It's taken some time, but perhaps we are finally witnessing the Bub Carrington breakout. The numbers for Carrington speak for themselves.

I understand that Washington has been missing key rotation players at various times during this hot stretch, but that's irrelevant, as they're going to keep doing that throughout the season, resting veterans and others often while they clearly tank. Carrington has been a counting stats machine, and he's finally doing enough there to make up for his poor FG% and turnovers (though his FG% has been improving, to be fair).

Mitchell Robinson - C (17%) 

Robinson is a hot pickup this week after a massive 21-16 game against the Sixers last week. I wasn't going to include him at first because we've been here before, and we know that he's still a massive injury risk. However, he backed that game up with nine points, seven boards, two steals, and a block against Miami yesterday. There will probably be some more rest days coming up, but New York doesn't have any back-to-backs this week, so you could get three games of boards and blocks from Mitch-Rob if things break just right.

Isaiah Collier - PG/SG (17%)

Assists are some of the hardest stats to find in fantasy basketball, and here's a player rostered in less than 20% of leagues who has handed out 38 dimes in his last four games!

Collier has added 18 points in each of his last two outings as well. The scoring won't stick long term, but the dimes are legit, and the fact that Collier isn't really taking many threes this season has also allowed him to shoot a solid percentage from the field (50%) as well. He's easily one of the best pickups of the week. Go grab him and win assists this week!

Sandro Mamukelashvili - PF/C (16%)

You all know what a big fan of Mamu's game I am by now. I don't think I need to dive into his stat profile and what he can do at this point. The most important development here has been that Jakob Poeltl's back is failing him, and Mamu could be looking at starting more often than just every few nights.

Poeltl has been getting rest days, but still had to leave last night's game early with back issues. It wouldn't surprise me if we hear that he's being shut down for a while, making Mamu one of the best adds off the wire this week.

Kevin Huerter - SG/SF (13%)

Huerter, like Jones, has taken advantage of Ayo Dosunmu's absence from the Bulls rotation and has posted four solid lines in a row since returning from an injury of his own. At some point, there won't be enough minutes to go around, but right now, Huerter is worth a look if you need points and threes - he's knocked down 13 treys in his last four games.

Jock Landale - C (12%)

Santi Aldama stole the show this weekend with a huge outing, but Landale has been a steady performer this season when Zach Edey is out. It's some boring low-end production in points, boards, and blocks, but Landale can add a few threes, too, and rarely hurts you in percentages or turnovers.

Dominick Barlow - PF/C (10%)

Barlow is coming off one of his best games of the season as he scored 21 points against Dallas in 30 minutes. His minutes are going to fluctuate with Joel Embiid and Paul George getting some days off, but he's sticking in the rotation even when everyone is healthy and gives Philadelphia some much-needed size at the power forward position when they were often rolling with guys like Kelly Oubre Jr. or Trendon Watford earlier this year.

Brook Lopez - C (9%)

The Clippers announced that Ivica Zubac will miss about three weeks with an ankle injury, which should push Lopez into the conversation even in standard leagues, depending on how the minutes shake out. They may opt to start John Collins as a small-ball center, but even if that happens, we are still probably looking at 22 to 25 minutes for Lopez off the bench.

We know what Brook can do with minutes - he'll be a solid source of threes, boards, and blocks. Keep expectations in check, as this isn't prime Lopez, but he could be one of the better pick-ups of the week, even if we only get about 60% of what we used to get in his Milwaukee days.

Quinten Post - C (6%)

Post has struggled with his shot recently, but is still the starting center for the Warriors, with coach Steve Kerr (I know, his credibility on these statements is low) stating that he would be the starter going forward. He's jacking up threes at a torrid pace and is an intriguing stretch-5 option if you need a big man who can fit with a guard-heavy team.

Dylan Cardwell - C (5%)

Perhaps you missed out on the Maxime Raynaud sweepstakes in your league. You can still snag another young Kings rookie who is starting to make an impact for Sacto in Cardwell.

With the news that Domantas Sabonis is set to miss at least another month, the Kings are going to need all the help in the middle they can get. Drew Eubanks offers little help on defense, while Cardwell has shown off some impressive shot-blocking, swatting 10 shots in his first three games.

He cracked 20 minutes in each of Sacto's last two games, even sharing the court with Raynaud at times. If the Kings want to start building for the future, then I see no reason why they wouldn't want to give this guy minutes. He makes them better with his interior defense.

Brandon Williams - PG (5%)

The Dallas point guard drama continues - and you know the drill here. Williams is going to have some boring nights, but is also going to mix in some really good performances with solid assists and steals. He does enough that a 20-25 minute role should keep him on your radar and on deep league rosters.

Bones Hyland - PG (4%)

Bones cooled off a bit in his last game, but had a few big games last week when both Anthony Edwards and Mike Conley were out.

He played well enough that it looks like he's going to stick in the rotation, and we know that he's a gunner who can put up points, assists, and threes even in limited minutes. I think he deserves to be rostered in deeper formats as long as he can hold onto this 18-minute bench role.

Jake LaRavia - SF/PF (4%)

We've seen LaRavia pop before when the Lakers have injuries, and his last two games have been a reminder of what he can do with minutes. He went 12-11-6 with two steals in the Lakers' loss to the Clippers this weekend, playing the most minutes (37) that he has played in over a month.

The Lakers have ruled out Rui Hachimura for several more games, and Deandre Ayton's status is also up in the air for Tuesday. Austin Reaves has been dealing with a calf issue, and we still don't know how severe Luka Doncic's injury was that he suffered on Saturday. Add LaRavia for this week, as he stands a pretty good chance of picking up enough minutes to be viable between all of those injured teammates.

Noah Penda - SF (1%)

We are digging DEEP into the wire today with a few one-percenters, but these last two rookies are definitely worthy of consideration in deep leagues.

Noah Penda has spent most of his rookie season on the bench, but when he has played, he's put up some solid numbers. He's played over 20 minutes three times this season, with the most recent instance being Orlando's game against Utah on Saturday. Penda scored 13 points to go with 12 boards, two steals, and two blocks in that one. If you scroll back through his game log, you'll see that he had a 13-8-4 and a 10-9-2 in the other two games where he had some extended run.

With Tristan da Silva banged up, we may see more meaningful minutes for Penda this week for Orlando. He's a big-bodied, athletic forward who gives Orlando some much-needed physicality, while also being able to stretch the floor.

Hugo Gonzalez - SF (1%)

First there was Josh Minott, then it was Jordan Walsh - and now it appears that Hugo Gonzalez is the latest tweener to get most of the run at the four in Boston. Gonzalez has played 28 and 29 minutes in his last two games, posting 10 points and eight boards against Miami and then a 10-10 double-double against Toronto this weekend.

Gonzalez is still pretty raw as a prospect, but he plays incredibly hard and is earning the respect of his teammates and coaches as a result. Walsh is nursing an injury right now as well, which could open the door for Gonzalez to keep playing big minutes for Boston.
