We are officially through the first quarter of the season, and the NFL landscape has been cemented. However, during the opening month, three receivers made crucial impacts not only on their respective teams but in the fantasy world as well.
In this piece, we will look at Elic Ayomanor, Tre Tucker, and Marquise Brown, and figure out if they are worth an add on the free-agency market.

Elic Ayomanor Week 5 Waiver Wire Pickups

Tennessee Titans rookie wide receiver Elic Ayomanor has been the lone bright spot in an otherwise horrific offense. The 2025 fourth-round pick has hauled in 12 of 25 targets for 151 yards and two touchdowns, leading all Titans receivers in every major statistical category.

Ayomanor has played 76% of the snaps and run 74% of the routes, giving him a consistent role in the offense, which is very rare for a mid-round rookie receiver. His current average of 8.2 half-PPR points per game ranks third among all rookie receivers, making him a reliable fantasy option despite the Titans’ struggles.
Those struggles have been significant, as Tennessee ranks dead last in points per game (12.8) and passing yards (123.5), while sitting second-to-last in total yards (210.5) and sacks allowed (17). Rookie quarterback Cam Ward has endured a rough start, dragging down nearly every fantasy option on the roster.
Still, Ayomanor is proving to be a focal point. He remains available in nearly 70% of fantasy leagues, making him a potential steal. If the Titans offense improves and the rookie-to-rookie connection between Ward and Ayomanor continues to develop, Ayomanor has the upside to become a league-winning addition.
Tre Tucker Week 5 Waiver Wire Pickups

Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver Tre Tucker underwhelmed in Week 4 after a breakout performance the week prior. Through four games, Tucker has caught 15 of 22 targets for 224 yards and four touchdowns, ranking as the WR9 on a per-game basis.
However, his ranking is heavily inflated by his Week 3 explosion against Washington, where he posted eight catches for 145 yards and three scores. Without that game, Tucker would have just seven receptions for 79 yards and one touchdown, which would slot him all the way down at WR80.

The good news is that Tucker’s usage has been among the elite receivers in the league. He’s logged a 93% snap share (11th in the NFL) and a 96% route participation rate (16th). The volume is there; the consistency is not. Quarterback Geno Smith hasn’t elevated the offense as much as fantasy managers hoped, but if his play improves, Tucker’s full-time role could pay dividends.
For now, Tucker is difficult to trust in weekly lineups, but his combination of usage and top-10 per-game ranking makes him a stash candidate. If the Raiders’ passing game stabilizes, Tucker could emerge as a steady fantasy contributor.
Marquise Brown Week 5 Waiver Wire Pickups

Baller Move: Trade Away If Possible
Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Marquise “Hollywood” Brown found the end zone in Week 4, but his fantasy production remains underwhelming. Over his past three games (Weeks 2-4), Brown has managed just 12 receptions on 16 targets for 110 yards and one touchdown, ranking as the WR44 in that span.
Brown’s role has been strong on paper. He’s logged a 79% snap share, a 95% route participation rate, and a 23% target share, all team highs among Chiefs receivers. However, his fantasy value has been propped up by the absence of key playmakers.

That window is closing quickly. Xavier Worthy returned in Week 4 on a limited snap share (59%) and still posted 121 scrimmage yards, while Rashee Rice is expected back in Week 7. With both returning, Brown’s grip as Kansas City’s WR1 will vanish.
The Chiefs’ tendency to spread the ball around makes the wideout situation even more volatile. Given the looming competition, this may be the last opportunity to get trade value for Brown. His outlook for the rest of the season points more toward a fantasy fade than a difference-maker.
