Texas quarterback Arch Manning, who was previously dealing with a foot injury, posted a strong first practice of fall camp, according to Eric Nahlin of Inside Texas. "When he was on--which was for most of the viewing period--Arch Manning stood above the rest," Nahlin wrote. "He completed an effortless pitch-and-catch with Ryan Wingo that looked exactly how it's supposed to. He connected to all three levels of the field." After a rough showing to begin his first season as a starter, Manning flashed his high ceiling in the second half of the year, averaging 286.2 passing yards per game, scoring 19 touchdowns, and throwing five interceptions over his final six games. The fourth-year signal-caller will need to clean up the turnovers, but he has a stronger supporting cast in 2026, and Texas is fully expected to compete for an SEC crown and spot in the College Football Playoff. Manning projects to be one of the most productive quarterbacks in the country this season.--Jackson Sparks - RotoBaller
