BYU running back LJ Martin (shoulder) is fully recovered from offseason shoulder surgery and is cleared for the start of fall camp, according to Carly Ludlow of Universe Sports. Martin's procedure took place in December, and he spent spring recovering before being cleared in June. Martin is one of the nation's top running backs entering 2026 after posting 1,305 rushing yards, 255 receiving yards, and 12 touchdowns a season ago. The 220-pound ball carrier should see another heavy workload as a senior, especially after the departures of top wideouts Parker Kingston and Chase Roberts. Expect the Cougars to remain one of the best rushing teams in the Big 12, led by Martin and quarterback Bear Bachmeier.--Jackson Sparks - RotoBaller
