Nic Anderson Missing Start of Fall Camp
Kentucky wide receiver Nic Anderson (undisclosed) is not participating in the start of fall practices, according to Adam Luckett of Kentucky Sports Radio. Unfortunately, Anderson's injuries have been a major theme of his collegiate career. The former Oklahoma Sooner and LSU Tiger has missed over a dozen games due to injury, including 12 games in his final season at Oklahoma in 2024. Anderson flashed big-time upside as a sophomore (2023), catching 38 passes for 798 yards and 10 touchdowns, but he's tallied just 12 receptions for 106 yards and two scores over the last two seasons (11 games). He is a projected starter for the Wildcats this year, and hopefully, he can put the injury woes behind him ahead of his fifth year of college football. He is expected to be available this preseason at some point.
