Didier Fuentes, SP, Atlanta Braves

Update - Fuentes is set to start Wednesday's contest against the Washington Nationals
Fuentes actually broke camp with the Braves but was kept in the bullpen as a long reliever before being sent to Triple-A to build up his workload. In his lone MLB appearance this season, Fuentes logged four innings with two hits, one earned run, and 4:1 K:BB against the Kansas City Royals.
However, since being optioned to Triple-A Gwinnett, Fuentes has not only impressed as a starter, but has seen his workload drastically improve, suggesting the Braves view him as a long-term starter. After logging a short 3 2/3 innings in his Triple-A debut, Fuentes has tossed at least six innings in back-to-back games.
On April 8, Fuentes logged six innings with only two hits and eight strikeouts against Nashville. In his most recent appearance, facing Triple-A Memphis, Fuentes allowed four runs, but was able to hit the seven-inning mark for the first time this season.
The 20-year-old had a short stint with the Braves as a starter in 2025 but struggled, holding a 13.85 ERA over his first four MLB games. However, given his steady progress at Triple-A and past minor-league production, the young right-hander was clearly overmatched in his debut.
With the Braves lacking major depth at the back-end of their rotation, Fuentes may only need one more start at Triple-A to prove he is ready to take on a full starter's workload. His raw skill has improved greatly, and he should look far more comfortable in his second opportunity as an MLB starter.

Robby Snelling, SP, Miami Marlins

Even though Snelling has moved down the stash list, he has continued to enjoy elite production at Triple-A and remains on the verge of his MLB debut. In his most recent outing on April 10, the southpaw racked up 12 punchouts facing Triple-A Norfolk. In those things, Snelling allowed just two hits, and our walks over five shutout frames.
Overall, the Miami left-hander has looked quite sharp through his first three games, logging 13 innings to the tune of a 2.77 ERA, 1.15 WHIP, and a 22:8 K:BB. Snelling was given an opportunity to win a starting job in spring training, but fell short in the competition as Max Meyer was fully healthy, and Chris Paddack was given the nod for the final starting job.
Snelling has looked more than comfortable since making his Triple-A debut during the second half of the 2025 campaign and has proven he is more than ready to join Miami. During his first stint at Triple-A (63 2/3 innings), the left-hander posted a 1.27 ERA, 0.99 WHIP, with an 81:17 K:BB. The southpaw opened the 2025 campaign with Double-A and enjoyed far less success, posting a 3.61 ERA with a 1.22 WHIP over 72 1/3 frames.
The current No. 5 starter, Janson Junk, is coming off the worst outing of his young season as he surrendered five runs (four earned) against the Tigers on April 11. Paddack has not fared much better, carrying a 5.59 ERA over his first four appearances (19 1/3 innings).
While his path to the majors remains clear, Snelling may have to wait for no injury as the Marlins appear to be in favor of keeping him in the minor leagues for the time being.

Colt Emerson, SS, Seattle Mariners

Mariners' general manager Jerry Dipoto publicly stated that Emerson is getting close to a promotion. This is a polished hitter who is currently slashing .255/.333/.392 with one home run and three stolen bases in 58 plate appearances at Triple-A. While the 31.0% strikeout rate is discouraging, remember that he put up a 22.2 K% in Triple-A last year, plus a sub-20 K% in both Single-A and Double-A.
It would make sense for the M's to call up Emerson soon. For one, the team signed him to an eight-year, $95 million extension, so they should see what they have in their young infielder. Secondly, at the time of this article, Seattle has an 8-11 record. With Cal Raleigh, Julio Rodriguez, and Josh Naylor struggling at the plate, Emerson could be the spark that the team needs.
On top of that, Cole Young has cooled off a bit, slashing .215/.311/.369 with two homers in 74 plate appearances. That gives the Mariners the option to send Young down and replace him with Emerson at second base.
In any case, it's only a matter of time before Emerson is up. Once that happens, there's a good chance that he can produce at a 15/15 pace with a rock-solid batting average due to his strong plate discipline. Make sure to stash Emerson before your league mates get him.
