Thunder Dan's fantasy basketball waiver wire pickups for Week 6 of the 2025-26 NBA season. Consider these players as fantasy basketball adds, streamers, and stashes.
We get a bit of an abbreviated schedule this week with only two games on Tuesday and an entire day off on Thursday for Thanksgiving. I know the league usually takes Thanksgiving off, but what do they expect us to do all day - watch football? If the NFL can start playing games on Christmas Day, then why can't the NBA just start playing some games on Thanksgiving?
I'm screaming into the void there, but I hope you find the rest of the words on this page useful this week, as there is a solid (yet smaller) group of pick-ups for standard leagues. Since that group was a bit smaller this week, I dug pretty deep in the second section for those of you in 14-team leagues or larger - there are some treasures down there under 10% rostered if you are willing to dig!
I have always been an advocate of being aggressive on the waiver wire! If your league has daily lineups, you should use that to your advantage and maximize your weekly games in H2H formats when necessary. Every week, I will give you my top adds for standard 10-12 team leagues as well as deeper formats and the schedule breakdown for all 30 teams. I am using Yahoo for the percentage rostered; however, I am adjusting my benchmarks as the new 10-team high score leagues on Yahoo have impacted those percentages.

Schedule Highlights
- The Magic and Wizards are the only teams that play just two games this week.
- Most valuable back-to-backs: Minnesota (Sat-Sun), New Orleans (Sat-Sun), Toronto (Sat-Sun), Boston (Sat-Sun)
- Most valuable streaming schedules: Boston (Wed-Sat-Sun), any of the 10 teams that play four games this week.
Standard League Adds - Fantasy Basketball Waiver Wire for Week 6
Percent owned numbers for Yahoo! "Standard Leagues" refer to 10- or 12-team leagues.
We are using 25% or lower as the cutoff again this week, with 10% or below being right around where I draw the line between standard league and deep league adds.
Vince Williams Jr. - PG/SG/SF (21%)
My favorite pickup this week was Collin Gillespie, but his rostership spiked over the 25% threshold since yesterday after yet another excellent outing. So we start things off with Williams Jr., who has been flirting with triple-doubles as the de facto point guard for the Grizzlies the last two weeks.
Williams has easily been the best distributor of the basketball for Memphis and has taken a backseat in scoring to help get his other teammates going. He also hits the glass hard for his size and can stack up some nice boards. His FG% isn't great, but the reduced volume there makes it less of a concern.
Peyton Watson - SF/PF (21%)
Watson enjoyed the boost that comes with being featured on the cover of this article last week (I kid...) as he posted a career-high 32 points and 12 rebounds against the Pelicans. He's played 34 minutes as a starter for Denver now in five straight games, and with the injury to Aaron Gordon, he's absolutely a MUST-OWN player for the next month (and likely beyond that).

— Denver Nuggets (@nuggets) November 9, 2025
Make sure he's not on your wire; he has some legit appeal for the rest of the season.
Keldon Johnson - SF/PF (20%)
Johnson has been one of the biggest winners of the Wemby injury sweepstakes in San Antonio. In the four games since Wemby went down, Johnson is averaging 17.8 points, 8 boards, and 1.5 threes on 65% shooting. He's a four-category player, offering little help elsewhere, but he's been so good in those four categories that he's a must-roster player until the Spurs get healthier.
Noah Clowney - PF/C (18%)
The arrow on Clowney continues to point up and he's coming off two straight games with 37 minutes played. Those minutes show me that Brooklyn actually cares about developing him this year and he finally has the faith on that coaching staff.
Noah Clowney has really grown his game the last month or so, much more physical.

The Nets are also putting up a pretty good fight most nights, even beating Boston on Friday behind good games from Clowney, Michael Porter Jr., and Nicolas Claxton. Like Johnson, Clowney is mainly good for points and threes, but he is also starting to pile up defensive stats with two or more stocks per game in five of his last six.
Brandon Williams - PG (17%)
He is questionable for tonight, but Williams continues to start at the point for Dallas and put up some solid numbers. Yeah, he shot terribly two games ago, but also posted 12 assists that night and then bounced back with a good game in his next one. Stay the course; he has plenty of fantasy appeal in the short term.
Naji Marshall - SF/PF (16%)
Naji tends to alternate good nights with mediocre nights, but when he's on, he can put up some big numbers and Dallas just doesn't have anyone else on their roster who can do what he does - get those dirty, grimy buckets on drives to the paint, offensive boards and putbacks, etc...
Jordan Goodwin - PG/SG (10%)
If Collin Gillespie isn't available in your league, give Goodwin a look. He's been playing minutes in the mid-20s now for two weeks and has scored in double figures in six straight, including an impressive 15-10-3 line last night with two steals.
He is now up to 1.4 steals per game on the season in just 19 minutes per night, that's something. As long as Phoenix is banged up and Goodwin is getting this much run, he warrants consideration.
Deep League Adds - Fantasy Basketball Waiver Wire for Week 6
Percent owned numbers for Yahoo! "Deep Leagues" refer to 14-team leagues or larger.
AJ Green - PG/SG (9%)
Green has continued to drill threes at a high rate lately, even with Milwaukee's best shot-creator, Giannis Antetokounmpo, out of the lineup. You won't find a more accurate marksman from beyond the arc in the 10% or lower range, so give Green a look if you need some efficiency and threes.
Caleb Love - SG (9%)
It's been all or nothing with Love in his brief stint as a regular in the Portland rotation. He has games with 17 and 26 points, but also sandwiched five-point and eight-point outings between those. We aren't likely to see Shaedon Sharpe or Jrue Holiday this week, so give Love a look if you want to swing for the fences. Just know that a 1-12 shooting performance like he had against Chicago last week is within the range of outcomes.
Jordan Clarkson - PG/SG (7%)
Clarkson pops back up on our radar for this week as his teammate, Landry Shamet, went down with what looked like a pretty serious injury to the same shoulder that he had trouble with last season.

— New York Basketball (@NBA_NewYork) November 22, 2025
Clarkson played 34 minutes in that game, where Shamet left early, and could function as the first guard off the bench for New York this week, while OG Anunoby remains out and Miles McBride starts in his absence.
Julian Champagnie - SG/SF (7%)
The Spurs have another week ahead where they have to attempt to fill a 7-foot-4 void in their lineup as Victor Wembanyama remains out. Stephon Castle is also out and Dylan Harper is not yet ready to return.
So Champagnie has been starting on the wing and is doing his usual thing when he gets minutes - offering some low-end scoring, threes, and boards. He just snagged 12 rebounds in his last game and had a very solid 20-5-4 line the night before.
He's just a streamer, but the Spurs fill-ins should have plenty of value for at least another week.
Pelle Larsson - SF/SF (7%)
I know we are anxiously awaiting the return of Tyler Herro to the Miami lineup, and everyone is bracing themselves for the impact on all of the Miami guards and wings. But Larsson has played incredibly well lately and could easily stick in the starting lineup if Miami decides to run Herro at the point and bring Davion Mitchell off the bench.
If we omit the first three games of the season where Larsson played single-digit minutes, he's at 11.8 points, 3.4 rebounds, 4.1 assists, and 1.3 threes on 48.7% shooting. The assists have been sneaky good of late, though they'll probably go down as Herro gets acclimated. We might squeeze at least one more week of Larsson while Herro gets slowly ramped up, or he could have value beyond this week, but I think it's worth finding out.
Sandro Mamukelashvili - PF/C (7%)
You really need to watch this dude play basketball. He's a really good NBA player and arguably one of the best bench players in the league right now.
Immanuel Quickley -> Jamal Shead -> Sandro Mamukelashvili 3!!!!!

— Omer Osman (@OmerOsman200) November 24, 2025
Mamu went off for 23 and 7 just two games ago against the Wizards while Jakob Poeltl was in foul trouble. The Raptors have no reason to push Poeltl into big minutes with how well Mamu is playing, and he's starting to see more games with 20+ minutes than the 15 range. That little boost in playing time is a big deal for a player who is as efficient and multi-skilled as Mamu.
Jalen Smith - C (6%)
I may just keep Jalen Smith in this article all year long! I know it's tough to roster a player who sees only 16 minutes a night in standard leagues, but Smith is so productive in his minutes that he makes up for the low minutes. He's now over 10 points per game on the season and is adding 5.9 boards, 1.6 threes, and 0.8 blocks with under one turnover. There's value there, and his role seems to be more solid than ever before with the Bulls keeping Vucevic's minutes down this season.
Jamal Shead - PG (5%)
The list of players who are rostered in only 5% of leagues and averaging over five assists per game is short. In fact, it's just Jamal Shead and no one else. He's been superb off the bench for the Raptors this year as part of a dynamic second unit and has dropped 19 assists in his last two games.
There will be some nights when he doesn't score much, but the assists and steals on a per-minute basis are TJ McConnell-esque. He's a valuable asset in deep leagues and should always be on your radar as a quality stream, especially if one of the Raptors starters sits out any given night.
Cam Whitmore - SF/PF (4%)
There are two reasons that Cam is in this week's article. The first one is because, despite the fact that the Wizards only play twice this week, I think Whitmore has some rest-of-season appeal as he's beginning to emerge as Washington's best young scorer on the wing. He now has two 20-point games in his last six and just one game under double-digits in points despite being limited to around 18 minutes per game.

— Hoops Showtime (@HoopsShowtime12) November 23, 2025
The second reason is that I already picked out his picture to feature on the cover, and our image provider doesn't have pictures of most of these guys (brutal honesty!) All kidding aside, Cam can get buckets, we knew that about his game when he was in Houston, but the preseason hype around Whitmore is starting to look warranted, and we know that Washington should be motivated to see what they have from their young assets this season.
Tyrese Martin - PG/SG/SF (2%)
Martin is by no means a safe streamer, but he has flashed 20+ point scoring upside twice in his last four games, and the Nets badly need guards on the floor who can get buckets (unlike Terance Mann). He does little beyond scoring, but he's shot 50% or better in four straight games and appears to be heating up a bit.
Cam Spencer - SG (2%)
It took Cam a bit longer than I expected to get going, but he's finally reeled off three pretty good games in a row, playing 24 minutes in each and averaging 13 points and 4.7 assists in those contests. As we know, assists are usually incredibly tough to find on the wire, so if you need some dimes, Spencer is out there for the plucking. He will hit a few threes and add a steal or two, but his real value comes from his passing as Memphis just doesn't have many healthy ball-handlers right now.
Good luck this week - happy streaming, friends!
