Dave's NASCAR DFS picks for DraftKings, FanDuel for the Mobil 1 301 at New Hampshire Motor Speedway (2025). His top NASCAR daily fantasy lineup plays and DFS sleepers for Loudon.
Well, last weekend's race at Bristol Motor Speedway is in the books. There was a lot of discussion surrounding the tire wear at last weekend's race, and whether or not NASCAR and Goodyear delivered an effective tire wear race. Personally, I loved it. There was a lot of strategy involved, and drivers really had to manage their tires. We saw a lot of passing on the bottom, and drivers who got caught in the outside lane lost multiple positions. It really did feel like an old-school, classic Bristol race filled with tons of bump-and-run passes. While that was fun, it's time to turn our attention to this weekend's race.
The NASCAR Cup Series playoffs continue this week at New Hampshire Motor Speedway. "The Magic Mile" is a flat, one-mile oval. The Cup Series used to run two races at New Hampshire, but the track has been a one-off event for the last eight years. Luckily for us, several tracks on the Cup Series schedule (Gateway, Phoenix, and Richmond) offer similar characteristics to New Hampshire. We will use the previous results from those tracks, as well as the drivers' history at New Hampshire, to gauge what we should expect. This race also marks the beginning of the Round of 12. This round will end at the Charlotte Roval in two weeks, so drivers who want to clinch a spot in the Round of 8 will need a good start. Denny Hamlin begins the Round of 12 as the points leader and is 26 points above the cutoff line. Bubba Wallace currently sits in eighth place, just one point to the good. Austin Cindric, Joey Logano, Ross Chastain, and Tyler Reddick are all within three points of Wallace. With things so bunched up, we are likely to see a lot of movement in the standings by the time this weekend's race is finished.
With that said, let's dive into our NASCAR DFS lineup picks for the Mobil 1 301 on DraftKings and FanDuel this week. Please note, this slate locks on 9/21/2025 at 2:03 p.m. ET.

Disclaimer: All the drivers presented as picks for this week's race are meant to be some of my top DFS recommendations of the week. They are not originally intended to fit all into one lineup.
Christopher Bell
Starts 19th - DK: $11.2K, FD: $14K
Bell did not qualify well, but don't let that deter you from playing him here. He is a two-time New Hampshire winner and has three top-5 finishes in five Loudon starts. Bell is also the defending champion of this race. He led 149 laps last year en route to capturing the checkered flag.

The driver of the Joe Gibbs Racing No. 20 Toyota Camry has also had a good year on other flat tracks in 2025. Bell won at Phoenix back in March and led a race-high 105 laps in the process. He also finished seventh at Gateway earlier this month.
Bell is one of the favorites to win the 2025 NASCAR Cup Series championship. This race is a great opportunity for him to start the Round of 12 with a bang and potentially punch his ticket to the Round of 8 with a victory.
He was not super fast in practice, but his history at New Hampshire speaks for itself. Even if he is not the quickest car in the early going, odds are good crew chief Adam Stevens has some kind of strategy play up his sleeve to get Bell good track position while the crew works to improve the car. Starting 19th, Bell also offers the potential for key place differential points.
After winning last weekend's race at Bristol, Bell has a ton of momentum entering New Hampshire. Expect him to post another solid finish with a shot at capturing his third New Hampshire win.
Denny Hamlin
Starts 9th - DK: $11K, FD: $13K
Hamlin has three career victories at "The Magic Mile." He also has 11 top fives, 19 top 10s, and has an average finish of 9.9 in 31 career New Hampshire starts.
Also working in Hamlin's favor is that he won at Gateway just a few weeks ago.

Hamlin also finished second at Phoenix and 10th at Richmond, so he's run well on flat tracks so far in 2025. He's done just about everything in his Cup Series career except win a championship. Hamlin is hoping to check that off his list this year, but he must first advance to the Round of 8. Expect Hamlin to improve upon his ninth-place starting position, and he could be in contention for the victory, too.
Ryan Blaney
Starts 2nd - DK: $10.5K, FD: $12K
Blaney qualified well and is starting on the front row. He also showed good speed in practice as he had the fastest 10 consecutive lap average. New Hampshire has not been one of Blaney's best tracks. He only has four top 10s in 12 career Loudon starts. He hasn't had much success at Richmond, either.
However, Blaney does have 13 top 10s in 19 career Phoenix starts as well as two top fives and three top 10s in four career starts at Gateway. He's also run well on the flat tracks this year. Blaney finished fourth at Gateway and third at Richmond and led laps in both races.
Blaney's history at Loudon is a bit of a drawback, but this is the best he's ever qualified at the track. It gives him a great opportunity to lead laps and accrue those all-important dominator points that DFS gamers crave. Some will look at Blaney's track history and call him a fade, but I think he is live to score his first victory at "The Magic Mile."
Joey Logano
Starts 1st - DK: $10K, FD: $10.5K
Logano did not show impressive speed in practice, but he won the pole with a blistering lap.

He is a two-time Loudon winner and has 14 top 10s in 26 career starts at the track. Logano has also finished fifth, fourth, and 13th at Gateway, Richmond, and Phoenix, respectively, this year.
Starting from the pole, Logano has a great opportunity to score plenty of dominator points, and it could be enough to offset any negative place differential points. He's another good anchor option for your lineups this weekend.

Austin Dillon
Starts 28th - DK: $6.5K, FD: $6.2K
We'll now take a look at a few cheaper options if you like any of the above drivers and want to try to offset their cost.
Dillon hasn't been great at New Hampshire and only has two top 10s in 15 Cup Series starts at the track. However, he did finish 12th at Phoenix and won at Richmond in August.

Dillon also scored a top 20 at Gateway a few weeks ago. The main thing we are going for here is key place differential points. Starting 28th, Dillon could be a great play if he manages to sneak inside the top 15. Consider him a good place differential target.
John H. Nemechek
Starts 29th - DK: $6.2K, FD: $6K
Nemechek is a great place differential target this weekend. He finished eighth in this race last year after starting 28th. Nemechek also has a sixth-place finish at Gateway and a 14th-place finish at Phoenix earlier this year. He's a great option to pair with some of the higher-priced drivers on the slate.
Zane Smith
Starts 20th - DK: $5.3K, FD: $4K
Smith finished 33rd at Gateway, but had an 11th-place finish at Richmond after starting 29th, as well as a ninth-place finish at Phoenix after starting 26th. If Smith posts a finish similar to what we saw at Richmond and Phoenix, then he could be a tremendous value.
The only downside here is that Smith starts a little closer to the front than we'd ideally like to see for a driver in this price range. However, he is so cheap that it would allow you to stack several of the heavy hitters in your lineup if you wish to go that direction.
