Week 4 fantasy football waiver wire pickups for Brenton Strange, Hunter Henry, Harold Fannin Jr. in 2025. Read their waiver wire outlooks for fantasy football.
Jake Ferguson is the TE1 after three weeks. The next two on the scoring list weren't even selected in most redraft leagues.
Juwan Johnson and Hunter Henry round out the top three of the ever-changing and volatile tight end landscape. The top prizes in drafts, Trey McBride and Brock Bowers, are TE1s, but not dominating so far. The third option, George Kittle (hamstring), is on injured reserve. Many fantasy managers are eyeing that position on their apps and looking for an upgrade.
Are Brenton Strange, Hunter Henry, or Harold Fannin Jr. worth adding off the waiver wire in Week 4? Here are the latest outlooks on each for fantasy football.

Brenton Strange Week 4 Waiver Wire Pickups

Baller Move: Add in 14+ Team Leagues
On a roster with last season's WR4, Brian Thomas Jr., and generational talent Travis Hunter, the leading receiver for the Jacksonville Jaguars is Brenton Strange. Don't bring that up to any Thomas or Hunter fantasy manager; you'll send them right back into the pit of despair they were in on Sunday.

It's not so much an accolade for Strange as it is an indictment on the state of the Shane Waldron-led Jacksonville pass game. Look at what Seattle and Chicago have accomplished after booting Waldron out of town. We should have known. But I digress.
Strange is exceeding expectations this season, his third as a pro. He's just outside the top 12 in PPR scoring, a somewhat impressive feat with zero touchdowns to his name. That's going to be the bugaboo for Strange all year. He has three scores in 34 career games, and the Jaguars' offense is underperforming. For it to turn around, the top wide receivers will be the ones to carry the torch.
That leaves Strange as just a low-ceiling option. For a fantasy manager in a pinch, sure, you could do worse. However, Strange isn't going to deliver a week-winning performance, and thus stands as a bye week or injury replacement.
Hunter Henry Week 4 Waiver Wire Pickups

Baller Move: Add in All Leagues
Any time a player scores 29 fantasy points, let alone a tight end, we should pay attention.
The truth is that, despite his very underwhelming Week 2 stat line, Hunter Henry should have already been rostered. He was already ranked as a weekly borderline TE1, and he just posted an eight-catch, 90-yard, two-touchdown game.

He's not going to score twice every week; that's a given, but his involvement in the New England offense is undeniable. There isn't a 'feed me' wide receiver on the Patriots roster, so Drake Maye is leaning on his veteran tight end. Through three weeks, Henry has a 21% target share (good for fifth among tight ends). No other New England receiver is at 15% or more.
There are concerns about consistency, given that Henry went from one point to 29 in a week, but that's not uncommon for the position. Consider Henry a TE1 the rest of the way.
Harold Fannin Jr. Week 4 Waiver Wire Pickups

Baller Move: Consider in 12+ Team Leagues
Fresh off a contest against one of the best defenses in football, one could make the argument that none of the Cleveland pass catchers are worth rostering, especially in smaller leagues. We aren't quite there yet.
Fannin's NFL journey got off to a strong start, which was a bit surprising given that David Njoku was atop the tight end depth chart. The Browns utilized the rookie in both his natural position and as a joker - lining up as a slot receiver, in the backfield, and out wide. That led to seven catches and 63 yards in his debut, with room to grow.
The production has slipped in the subsequent two games: five catches on five targets for 48 yards and three catches for 25 yards on four targets, but he's still being used all over alignments. He's on the field for about two-thirds of Cleveland's offensive plays.

The Fannin hype has dissipated a bit, but he's still just outside the weekly TE1 conversation. Of the three tight ends in this article, Henry is the priority.
