EPL DFS Goalies
Nikola Vasilj - DK $3.9K || FD $9
Opponent - at Canada
Nikola Vasilj and the rest of Bosnia & Herzegovina will be welcomed by a hungry Canada team in front of a home crowd in Toronto, Canada. The goalkeeper’s job is plain and simple, keep your team above water. The FC St. Pauli goalkeeper had a rather unsuccessful season after St. Pauli was relegated back to Bundesliga 2. by season's end. However, a large part of their lack of success was not Vasilj’s fault, but more so the defense in front of him. St. Pauli was ranked the fourth-worst club in Big Chances Created Against.
Canada and Bosnia have never played each other, marking this their first meeting. Neither club had any meaningful friendlies prior to the commencement of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, but Canada does have one extra day of rest. As long as Bosnia’s back four can perform, Vasilj will have every opportunity to meet and surpass value.
Others To Consider (CASH/GPP):
- Maxime Crépeau (DK $5.6K || FD $12) vs. Bosnia & Herzegovina
- Matt Freese (DK $5.3K || FD $11) vs. Paraguay
EPL DFS Forwards
Christian Pulisic - DK $9.8K || FD $21
Opponent - vs. Paraguay
‘Captain America’ aka Christian Pulisic will have all eyes on him, even when he isn’t on the pitch. The star American will be the heartbeat for the United States. In his up and down season for AC Milan of Serie A this season, he produced eight goals, four assists, 54 shots, 38 chances created, 37 crosses, seven corners, 15 tackles, and three interceptions in 30 appearances, and 18 starts.
The United States and Paraguay have played each other six times, with two at the CONMEBOL Copa América and another at the World Cup. During the Copa América, the United States split. In their one World Cup meeting, the United States won 3-0. As the primary penalty-kick taker, the primary set piece taker, and possessing open-play value, Pulisic is expected to reach his ceiling in his 2026 FIFA World Cup debut.
Others To Consider (CASH/GPP):
- Folarin Balogun (DK $8.7K || FD $20) vs. Paraguay
- Esmir Bajraktarević (DK $6.3K || FD $14) at Canada
EPL DFS Midfielders
Stephen Eustáquio - DK $6K || FD $18
Opponent - vs. Bosnia & Herzegovina
Stephen Eustáquio is in the midst of his first season with LAFC, or Los Angeles Football Club of the Major Soccer League (MLS). In ten appearances–seven starts–he has produced one goal, one assist, six shots, two chances created, four crosses, one corner, 17 tackles, eight interceptions, and 11 clearances. He is used as a box-to-box midfielder for the MLS giants. However, he is utilized more as a playmaker for Canada.
In the midfielder’s two appearances for Canada at the 2022 edition of the World Cup, he managed three shots, two chances created, one cross, one corner, four tackles, and two interceptions. He did not have as big a role as he has now for Canada. Playing in front of a home crowd to mark the debut of the 2026 FIFA World Cup and having a majority role on set pieces, Eustáquio is projected to easily surpass value.
Others To Consider (CASH/GPP):
- Miguel Almirón (DK $6.2K || FD $14) at United States
- Benjamin Tahirović (DK $3K || FD $12) at Canada
EPL DFS Defenders
Amar Dedić - DK $4K || FD $12
Opponent - at Canada
Amar Dedić is approaching ‘LOCK’ territory, especially for ‘CASH’ contests. The young wingback has had a successful start to his career, with the bulk of it coming from RB Salzburg of the Austrian Bundesliga. Since then, he has played half a season with Olympique de Marseille before moving to SL Benfica in Liga Portugal. Dedić has played a vital role as a playmaker on the flank, and he will remain that for Bosnia & Herzegovina.
In his 43 appearances in all competitions this season with Benfica, he has produced one goal and five assists. In his ten matches–nine starts–for Benfica in the UEFA Champions League, he managed six shots, four chances created, eight crosses, 24 tackles, nine interceptions, and 22 clearances. Dedić will be busy trying to keep Canada at bay. He is projected to surpass value.
