EPL DFS Goalies
Matej Kovár - DK $4.5K || FD $10
Opponent - vs. South Korea
If looking for a value option in net with some form of odds to win, look no further than Matej Kovár. The once Manchester United academy gem has not had the most successful season. That can also be blamed on the defense in front of him, too. In 43 total appearances in all competitions, he has conceded 62 goals and recorded eight clean sheets.
South Korea has struggled internationally, especially over its last four pre-World Cup fixtures. Overall, they went 2-2, beating El Salvador and Trinidad and Tobago, but losing to Cotê d’Ivoire and Austria. As long as Czechia remains strong on defense, Kovár has an opportunity for a clean sheet in his 2026 FIFA World Cup debut.
Others To Consider (CASH/GPP):
- Raúl Rangel (DK $5.8K || FD $13) vs. South Africa
- Ronwen Williams (DK $3.8K || FD $8) at Mexico
EPL DFS Forwards
Roberto Alvarado - DK $7K || FD $16
Opponent - vs. South Africa
Roberto Alvarado will look to turn things around after a poor domestic season with C.D. Guadalajara. In 31 appearances in all competitions, he has produced four goals and five assists. Luckily, Mexico will play all of its Group Stage matches on home soil. Perhaps the motivation Alvarado needs to gain form.
South Africa will play the entire match defensively, allowing Mexico to have possession. This is the ultimate ticket. This will provide Alvarado with the necessary opportunities to produce. With open-play value and set pieces on his side, the playmaking winger is expected to surge past value here.
Others To Consider (CASH/GPP):
- Raúl Jiménez (DK $10K || FD $20) vs. South Africa
- Son Heung-Min (DK $9.4K || FD $19) vs. Czechia

EPL DFS Midfielders
Relebohile Mofokeng - DK $4.5K || FD $12
Opponent - at Mexico
Given the number of high-salary players, value is needed to complete a full roster. Leave that to Relebohile Mofokeng of South Africa. The Number 10 is projected to be the main set piece taker for the visitors. Throughout his 36 appearances this season in all competitions, he has accumulated 11 goals and nine assists.
At $4.5K on DraftKings, Mofokeng is considered the ideal value play. Despite Mexico being projected to control the majority of this match, Mofokeng can still provide value.
Others To Consider (CASH/GPP):
- Pavel Sulc (DK $6.5K || FD $12) vs. South Korea
- Lukás Provod (DK $5.2K || FD $17) vs. South Korea
EPL DFS Defenders
Vladimír Coufal - DK $4.4K || FD $12
Opponent - vs. South Korea
Outside of Roberto Alvarado and Raúl Jiménez, Vladimír Coufal is yet another ‘LOCK’ for the slate. The Czechia wingback is expected to have full control over set pieces for this match, providing instant value. This season for Hoffenheim in the Bundesliga–34 starts–he produced one goal, eight assists, 25 shots, 59 chances created, 209 crosses, 57 corners, 60 tackles, 37 interceptions, and 108 clearances.
South Korea will not be a ‘walk in the park’; however, they won’t be a difficult opponent either. Coufal will have numerous opportunities to produce at both ends of the pitch. He is projected to reach his ceiling here.
Others To Consider (CASH/GPP):
- Jesús Gallardo (DK $5.4K || FD $15) vs. South Africa
- Seol Young-Woo (DK $4.6K || FD $9) vs. Czechia
Corner Takers
- Mexico: Roberto Alvarado
- South Africa: Relebohile Mofokeng
- South Korea: Son Heung-Min
- Czechia: Vladamír Coufal
