ANALYSIS: After a modest showing in Week 1, New York Giants wide receiver Wan'Dale Robinson enjoyed a career game during their loss to the Dallas Cowboys this past weekend.
In their thrilling overtime loss at the hands of their divisional foe, Robinson caught eight of his 10 targets for an impressive 142 yards and a touchdown. In Week 1, Robinson caught six of his eight targets for 55 yards.
While Malik Nabers stands as the clear WR1 of this offense, Robinson appears to have pulled ahead of Darius Slayton for the No. 2 job. Over the first two games, Slayton has seen just five total targets and tallied a mere 61 yards (on two receptions). Even with quarterback Russell Wilson throwing for over 400 yards on Sunday, Slayton did not have a major role in the offense, and instead, Wilson leaned on Nabers and Robinson.
In 2024, Robinson enjoyed a career year, tallying 699 yards and three touchdowns on 93 receptions. Serving as the primary slot receiver in this offense, Robinson appears poised to surpass these numbers, especially if the Giants continue to play from behind.
Despite serving as the clear second target in the passing attack, Robinson is worth adding in all 10+ team PPR leagues as he should continue to carry high flex value, especially in PPR formats, given his ability to see nearly double-digit targets in each contest.
