ANALYSIS: Tennessee Titans rookie wide receiver Elic Ayomanor has begun to carve out a prominent role in the passing attack. After logging 43 total offensive snaps in Week 1, Ayomanor was able to take his production to the next level in Week 2.
In their season-opening loss to the Denver Broncos, Ayomanor caught just two of his seven targets for a mere 13 yards. In Week 2, Ayomanor was able to catch four of his six targets for 56 yards and a touchdown.
During this contest, Ayomanor matched the team's WR1 Calvin Ridley with six targets and was able to see more targets than Chimere Dike and Tyler Lockett, further suggesting that Ayomanor is the team's No. 2 WR.
While Ayomanor's ceiling will continue to be limited as Cam Ward develops in the NFL, he is seeing consistent targets each week, which should provide him a safe floor going forward. In addition, seeing that Ridley tallied just one more yard than Ayomanor in this game (57 yards) is an excellent sign for Ayomanor, as he should remain a key piece of this passing attack.
Given that his production should only increase as the team progresses, he is worth adding in all 10+ team leagues heading into Week 3.
