Kyle Parker Expected to Miss Another Game
Ohio State wide receiver Kyle Parker (undisclosed) is expected to miss the team's Week 2 battle with Texas. He also missed the Buckeyes' Week 1 victory over Ball State. Jeremiah Smith led Ohio State pass catchers with eight receptions for 151 yards and two scores in the opener. Devin McCuin had 97 yards and a touchdown across six grabs, while Legend Bay had 37 yards and a touchdown across two catches. Parker transferred over from LSU, where he caught 34 passes for 385 yards and four scores across two seasons; he posted 31 receptions, 330 yards and four touchdowns for the Tigers in 2025, and was expected to fill a role for the Buckeyes in 2026. Look for Smith, McCuin and Bay to power the team's pass catchers in a tougher test against Texas this week, then maybe Parker to join the mix in the weeks to come.
