Thomas Castellanos Suing NCAA, Seeking to Enter Transfer Portal
Former Boston College and Florida State quarterback Thomas Castellanos is filing a lawsuit against the NCAA, seeking an injunction for a fifth year and to enter the transfer portal. Last week's court ruling in Colorado granted Castellanos another year of eligibility, but he is working to ensure he can enter the transfer portal. With Auburn transfer Ashton Daniels locked in as Florida State's starter, Castellanos is open to returning to another program as a quarterback or all-around athlete. Last season, the Georgia native played in 12 games for the Noles, tallying 2,760 passing yards, 557 rushing yards, and 22 total touchdowns. It will be interesting to see if he can pull this off and where he could end up if he's granted his wish.
