Week 4 fantasy football waiver wire pickups, stashes for Isaiah Likely, Cole Kmet, Oronde Gadsden in 2025. Read their waiver wire outlooks for fantasy football.
The tight end position is one that many fantasy managers end up streaming more often than not. At a position that's so low-scoring, weekly volatility makes it essential to try to exploit the right matchups.
Even later in the season, some TEs with season-long starting value remain on waivers, whether due to injury issues or their adjustment to playing in the NFL. That's quite important too.
The position remains a significant source of frustration for fantasy managers, as even highly drafted players are prone to disappointing weeks and seasons. So let's dive into three potential TEs you could grab off waivers!

Isaiah Likely Week 4 Waiver Wire Pickups
Rostered: 26% of Leagues
Baller Move: Add in 14+ Team Leagues
The Likely hype has died down a bit, as it always seems to do, after a week in which fellow Baltimore Ravens tight end Mark Andrews had a huge game. After two consecutive games of being held to just one catch, many fantasy managers assumed that Andrews was cooked. That was clearly not the case.
The Ravens' offense frustratingly and virtually completely ignores or heavily utilizes its pass-catchers, depending on schematic matchups and other factors. So when Likely returns, it makes sense that he could fit right back into the ugly rotation of tight ends the team features.
Andrews, Likely, and third-string tight end Charlie Kolar are all involved in the passing game and split up targets with wide receivers Zay Flowers and Rashod Bateman. Add in the tendency for quarterback Lamar Jackson to pass the ball fewer than 20 times in some games, and you get a lot of volatility.
In deep leagues and tight end premium scoring leagues, I recommend you scoop up Likely. Otherwise, probably not worth it.
Cole Kmet Week 4 Waiver Wire Pickups

Baller Move: Add in Very Deep Leagues
It's probably still not worth it to add Kmet (groin). Even in a game where his Chicago Bears blew out the struggling Dallas Cowboys defense, which is pushing to be the league's worst, Kmet was only targeted a single time, though he did haul that pass in for a 10-yard touchdown score.

That said, he could be in line for at least one or two more targets than usual in Week 4.
Rookie TE Colston Loveland (hip) is dealing with a hip injury, and he was unable to practice on Wednesday or Thursday at all. His availability for his team's next contest isn't looking great. The Bears haven't been a high-passing-volume offense. However, they had plenty of yards through the air in Week 3, and they'll face a Las Vegas defense that has struggled to defend the pass.
Oronde Gadsden Week 4 Waiver Wire Pickups
Rostered: 7% of Leagues
Baller Move: Add in Deep Leagues
Gadsden had an encouraging start to his career. He played in his first NFL action in Week 3, and despite only logging 26 percent of the team's snaps, he was targeted seven times, catching five passes for 46 yards. Relative to his routes run rate, he saw looks from quarterback Justin Herbert quite often.

Expecting him to maintain that rate with more snaps played probably isn't reasonable. And the Chargers, unlike they were last season, currently have multiple receivers performing consistently well through three weeks. Quentin Johnston, Keenan Allen, and Ladd McConkey have all shown themselves worthy of heavy usage.
Through the first part of the season, the Chargers have passed the ball very heavily. For Gadsden to have any consistent value, they'll need to keep that up -- but Los Angeles hasn't been as pass-heavy in years past. If the run game starts to get going, it could be tough for their pass-catchers to maintain good fantasy value.
Gadsden would be the odd man out in this case, but he's at least worth a speculative add in deeper leagues. It would probably take an injury to one of the team's top three receivers, as well as Gadsden consistently outperforming the team's other TEs, for him to be worth rostering long term.
