Tanner McKee Shines As Starter Against Bengals

Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Tanner McKee completed 20-of-25 pass attempts for 252 yards and two touchdowns, along with another score on a one-yard rush in Thursday's 34-27 preseason win over the Cincinnati Bengals. McKee played into the third quarter before being replaced by Dorian Thompson-Robinson, leading the Philly offense to five scoring drives out of the six he was on the field for. With this matchup coming on the first night of NFL preseason, it's hard to read too much into player performances. However, it does seem like McKee is locking up the No. 2 spot on the Eagles' depth chart. He may not have any immediate fantasy value, but on an offense surrounded by weapons, keep an eye on McKee in case Jalen Hurts ever needs a replacement.
