Power Ranking Active NFL Duos: Where do Joe Burrow and Ja’Marr Chase rank in 2024?

Joe Burrow - Fantasy Football Rankings, NFL Injury News, DFS and Betting Picks

Where do Joe Burrow and Ja'Marr Chase rank in best QB-pass catcher duos in 2024? Full list of top seven duos heading into the next season including the former LSU stars in Cincinnati.

The Kansas City Chiefs won the Super Bowl again, cementing their status as a modern-day dynasty. We are now in the offseason, and teams across the league are preparing to build a good roster to compete next season.

Every team wants an offensive duo that can do incredible things and win games for the franchise. Whether through the draft, free agency, or trades, teams typically want to have at least one player who their quarterback can turn to in critical situations and lead the franchise.

Every team usually needs a great duo of QB-pass catchers to succeed, and here we will rank the top seven duos of QB-WR/TE heading into the next season.

Be sure to check all of our fantasy football rankings for 2025:

Honorable Mentions

7. Matthew Stafford and Puka Nacua: Los Angeles Rams

Stats: 98 receptions for 1,413 yards and five touchdowns in 15 games.

Record: 9-6

The Los Angeles Rams surprised everyone this past offseason. While Cooper Kupp struggled with injuries, Puka Nacua stepped up and became the go-to guy for Matthew Stafford. The Rams made the playoffs, and Nacua had probably the best rookie season a wide receiver has ever had in the history of the NFL. While Kupp is expected to get back to his usual production next season, Nacua will also look to reach the next level.

The duo of Stafford and Nacua entertained everyone last season and are likely to put on a show in the next campaign as well. The Rams will be a sneaky Super Bowl contender next season as they have many great players on the offense who can outscore any team.

6. Josh Allen and Stefon Diggs: Buffalo Bills

Stats: 445 receptions for 5,372 yards and 37 touchdowns in 66 games.

Record: 48-18

While there are growing speculations about a possible rift between Josh Allen and Stefon Diggs, the duo just continues to put up great numbers every season. Diggs' role in the Bills offense did decrease after Joe Brady became the offensive coordinator last season, but the star wide receiver is expected to be more involved next season.

The Buffalo Bills are a Super Bowl contender every season, and the biggest reason behind it is their quarterback. Allen, who is without a doubt a top-5 quarterback in the league, became an elite player after Diggs' arrival. They are one of the best duos in the NFL and can blow out any team's defense together on any given day.

5. Dak Prescott and CeeDee Lamb: Dallas Cowboys

Stats: 313 receptions for 4,151 yards and 29 touchdowns in 49 games.

Record: 33-16

Dak Prescott is coming off an MVP-calibre season, and he was massively helped by the emergence of CeeDee Lamb. Before the start of the season, there were doubts about whether Lamb could be a true WR1 of an NFL team, and the Oklahoma product was able to silence all his critics.

Lamb is now one of the best wide receivers in the NFL, and even though the Cowboys lost in the Wildcard Round, Prescott solidified his case of being a top-10 quarterback. He is expected to sign a new deal with the franchise, and that will keep the QB-WR together for years to come.

4. Kirk Cousins and Justin Jefferson: Minnesota Vikings

Stats: 354 receptions for 5,338 yards and 29 touchdowns in 54 games.

Record: 29-25

Kirk Cousins and Justin Jefferson are coming off an injury-ridden season. Jefferson dealt with a hamstring injury and played only 10 games. Cousins, on the other hand, played just eight games before suffering a season-ending Achilles injury.

However, when healthy, they have shown that they are one of the best QB-WR duos in the league and have put up monster numbers every season. Cousins is a free agent, but there is a high possibility that he will sign a contract extension with the Vikings. The 35-year-old QB staying in Minnesota will also help the franchise secure a long-term extension with Jefferson, who many believe is the best wide receiver in the league and a future Hall of Famer.

3. Tua Tagovailoa and Tyreek Hill: Miami Dolphins

Stats: 213 receptions for 3,207 yards and 21 touchdowns in 29 games.

Record: 18-11

After Tyreek Hill was traded to the Miami Dolphins, many had doubts about whether the star wide receiver could replicate the success he had with Patrick Mahomes in Miami. In two seasons with Tua Tagovailoa as his quarterback, Hill has put up monster numbers and sealed his spot in the Hall of Fame. The 29-year-old wideout came close to recording 2,000 receiving yards last season but an ankle injury halted his season.

Tagovailoa has also massively benefited from Hill's addition, and he has also put up good numbers when healthy. Although the duo hasn't found success in the playoffs, they are a must-see on TV in the regular season and are undoubtedly a top duo in the NFL.

2. Joe Burrow and Ja'Marr Chase: Cincinnati Bengals

Stats: 237 receptions for 3,308 yards and 28 touchdowns in 38 games.

Record: 24-14

Joe Burrow dealt with multiple injuries last season and played only 10 games. The Bengals quarterback's calf injury had an impact on his performance in the games that he did play. Despite that, the duo of him and Ja'Marr Chase continued to dominate teams.

In just three seasons in the NFL, the LSU products have solidified themselves as one of the best QB-WR duos in the history of the NFL. The Bengals are a Super Bowl contender, and that is largely because of their star duo. Last year, Burrow signed a five-year, $275 million extension with the franchise, and Chase is also likely to ink a deal soon. They will continue to play together for years to come, and they can shatter numerous records in the coming years.

1. Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce: Kansas City Chiefs

Stats: 589 receptions for 7,303 yards and 53 touchdowns in 93 games.

Record: 72-21

Playoff Stats: 142 receptions for 1,609 yards and 18 touchdowns in 18 games.

Playoff Record: 15-3

Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce are coming off back-to-back Super Bowl wins. Both of them are future Hall of Famers and are arguably the best to ever play in their respective positions. Despite the Chiefs' offense's struggles in the regular season, Mahomes and Kelce turned up in the playoffs along with the wide receivers and won the Super Bowl.

Kelce will turn 35 years old in October, but he is still the best tight end in the league. The duo of Mahomes and Kelce is the best QB-pass-catching duo in the NFL, as they have proven it on the biggest stage. They have already shattered Tom Brady and Rob Gronkowski's playoff numbers and will continue to put up great stats for some more years.

Out of any duo in the NFL, Mahomes and Kelce have had the most postseason success, and they should be ranked as the best in the NFL. Hopefully, the Chiefs will add more talent around them to have a more prolific offense next season.
