Orlando Magic forward/center Jonathan Isaac (hip) could miss Tuesday night's matchup in Portland after being listed as questionable with a hip contusion. He played 13 minutes on Monday and has logged 10-to-15 minutes in six straight games, making marginal contributions in the second unit. With Goga Bitadze (knee) and Tristan da Silva (shoulder) also questionable, the frontcourt of the second unit is uncertain for this matchup, which could open up time for Noah Penda and Jett Howard. Isaac missed a game last week due to a hip contusion as well, so monitor his status leading up to Tuesday night's late tipoff in Portland--Zach Thompson

Oklahoma City Thunder center Isaiah Hartenstein (calf) is available to suit up ahead of Tuesday's matchup with the San Antonio Spurs after missing the first leg of a back-to-back against Memphis on Monday. Hartenstein has averaged 9.0 points, 9.2 rebounds, 2.6 assists, 0.6 steals, 1.2 blocks, and 24.3 minutes over his last five appearances, providing steady boards and defensive value. After drawing his first start of the season one game ago, Branden Carlson will likely head back to the bench with Hartenstein back in action this evening.--Andrew Lennox

Orlando Magic forward Tristan da Silva (shoulder) has missed the last three games with a shoulder contusion, but he was listed as questionable for Tuesday night's game against the Trail Blazers. He is averaging 9.7 points, 3.9 rebounds, 1.2 assists, and 23 minutes per game in his 26 games this season, and he stepped into a larger role while Paolo Banchero was out. With Banchero back, his playing time has been a little erratic, but he still offers upside. The second-year forward could step into a larger role if he's ready to return to action, depending on the status of Goga Bitadze (knee) and Jonathan Isaac (hip), who are also listed as questionable.--Zach Thompson

Oklahoma City Thunder guard Ajay Mitchell (concussion) will sit out Tuesday's contest with the San Antonio Spurs. Mitchell was forced out of Monday's game against Memphis after sustaining a concussion. His next chance to suit up comes on Christmas Day, but it is doubtful that he will be cleared to play. While the 23-year-old is out of action, the Thunder's backcourt will rely upon Isaiah Joe and Alex Caruso to take on extra minutes.--Andrew Lennox

Orlando Magic point guard Jalen Suggs (hip) has been ruled out for a fourth straight game as the Magic visit the Blazers for the second game of their back-to-back. Suggs has been out since Dec. 13 with a left hip contusion. While he has been sidelined, Anthony Black and Paolo Banchero have been carrying more of the playmaking workload, while Tyus Jones and Jase Richardson have been getting more minutes. Jones had seven points, four assists, and four steals in 26 minutes on Monday's loss to the Warriors, while Richardson has scored at least nine points in four straight games and had 11 points in 22 minutes on Monday.--Zach Thompson

Oklahoma City Thunder forward/center Chet Holmgren (illness) will play versus the San Antonio Spurs. Holmgren is set to suit up Tuesday after missing the first half of a back-to-back set on Monday due to an illness. The 23-year-old big man is a must-start across all fantasy formats whenever he is available to suit up. Holmgren is averaging 18.7 points, 7.9 rebounds, 1.6 assists, 1.5 blocks and 1.5 three-pointers in 28.7 minutes per contest across 24 outings so far this season.--Andrew Lennox

Los Angeles Lakers guard Austin Reaves (calf) missed the last three games with a left calf strain, but he will be able to return to action on Tuesday against the Suns. His return is well-timed since Luka Doncic (leg) has been ruled out for the contest, giving Reaves a massive role if he's ready to pick it up. Reaves is averaging 27.8 points, 5.6 rebounds, and 6.7 assists per game in his 21 games this season, and he has been able to pick up even more work when Luka has been out. Now that we know that he'll play, stay tuned for any updates on whether he has any limitations.--Zach Thompson

Cleveland Cavaliers guard Lonzo Ball (rest) won't play against the New Orleans Pelicans. Ball will have the evening off for rest purposes and sit out the second half of a back-to-back set on Tuesday. The 28-year-old finished with six points, two rebounds, seven assists and one steal across 24 minutes during Monday's 139-132 win over the Hornets. Ball's ongoing rest/injury management limits his impact across all fantasy formats. With Ball out and Darius Garland (quadriceps) potentially sidelined, Craig Porter and Sam Merrill will likely see expanded roles this evening.--Andrew Lennox

Sacramento Kings guard Malik Monk has been made available ahead of the trade deadline, according to the latest reports from Chris B Haynes of NBA on Prime. Monk has fallen out of the rotation for the Kings as they try to go younger in the backcourt, but he still would be an interesting addition to a team's bench. The 27-year-old was runner-up for Sixth Man of the Year in 2023-24 and averaged 17.2 points, 5.6 assists, 3.8 rebounds, and 31.6 minutes per game last year in 65 games (45 starts) for the Kings. This year, he has played 24 games and averaged 12.5 points, 2.4 assists, and 2.0 rebounds. Monk will likely continue to be a non-factor for fantasy until he is traded, but once he is moved, he could end up in a great spot with plenty to offer, depending on his landing spot.--Zach Thompson

NBA reporter Matthew Tynan reports that San Antonio Spurs forward/center Victor Wembanyama (calf) participated in morning shootaround ahead of Tuesday's matchup with the reigning champions, the Oklahoma City Thunder. The French superstar is still listed as questionable on the team's official injury report, but his availability during shootaround will likely lead to him suiting up this evening. Wembanyama continues to manage a calf injury that recently kept him out of action for nearly a month. Since returning, he has received limited playing time but has still produced at a high level, averaging 19.3 points, 10.3 rebounds, and 2.5 blocks per contest. If the 21-year-old has a setback and is unable to take the floor, Luke Kornet and Kelly Olynyk will take on the available center minutes.--Andrew Lennox

New Orleans Pelicans forward Zion Williamson will play against the Cleveland Cavaliers. Zion rarely suits up for a complete back-to-back set. However, he is set to suit up Tuesday after posting 24 points, nine rebounds, and three assists across 25 minutes in a 119-113 loss to the Mavericks on Monday. Ahead of this evening's contest, the 25-year-old star forward has seen action in four consecutive contests after missing six games due to an adductor injury. He will likely continue to come off the bench and have his minutes restricted despite Herbert Jones (ankle) sidelined for tonight's tilt.--Andrew Lennox

Atlanta Hawks guard/forward Dyson Daniels (hip) will miss his first game of the season on Tuesday night against the Chicago Bulls. He has been ruled out due to inflammation in his right hip. Daniels has developed into a big two-way force, averaging 11.5 points, 6.4 rebounds, 5.7 assists, and 2.0 steals during his fourth NBA campaign. Nickeil Alexander-Walker, who was recently bumped to the bench by Trae Young's return, may be back in the first unit on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Vit Krejci is another player who could see increased minutes in a fantastic fantasy matchup. The two teams met only a few days ago, combining for 302 points.--Taavi Pailk

Phoenix Suns guard/forward Grayson Allen (knee) is listed as doubtful for Tuesday's meeting with the Los Angeles Lakers. He is managing a right knee injury, and the doubtful designation indicates that Allen is likely to remain out for a third consecutive game. This means Royce O'Neale will have another opportunity to start, with Collin Gillespie and Jordan Goodwin logging more minutes in the backcourt. O'Neale and Goodwin have both struggled for consistency in recent games and are risky fantasy options, though it's a good matchup against the eighth-worst defense in the Association.--Taavi Pailk

Los Angeles Lakers forward Rui Hachimura (groin) has been listed as out for Tuesday's game against the Phoenix Suns. He has a sore right groin and is considered day-to-day. It's possible Hachimura can return to the lineup on Christmas Day against the Houston Rockets. In Tuesday's matchup, Jake LaRavia and Jarred Vanderbilt will cover for Hachimura. LaRavia is the better fantasy option, but Vanderbilt has recently impressed with his rebounding, averaging 7.7 boards per game over the last three contests. It could be another busy night on the glass for him against the Suns, who are ranked 20th in rebounding rate.--Taavi Pailk

Minnesota Timberwolves forward Jaden McDaniels (oblique) is listed as questionable for Tuesday's tilt against the New York Knicks. He sustained a left oblique contusion in Sunday's win over the Milwaukee Bucks, exiting the contest after logging just nine minutes of playing time. Due to the injury, McDaniels may now have to sit out his second game of the season. Mike Conley started the second half in McDaniels' place on Sunday and may keep the spot for Tuesday's matchup. However, the veteran floor general just returned from injury and could see limited minutes. Jaylen Clark and Terrence Shannon Jr. might also benefit from McDaniels' absence, but neither is a reliable fantasy option.--Taavi Pailk
