San Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle has not lived up to expectations so far in 2025, producing a 12-100-2 stat line over four games played. On the positive side, the hamstring injury that sent Kittle to injured reserve for five weeks does not appear to be holding him back. Since returning in Week 7, his snap share has fluctuated between 82% and 89%. Unfortunately, even though he is on the field far more often than not, the team is looking elsewhere to move the ball. Kittle's target share in his four games is only 13.5% compared to 18.3% in 2024, and he is being targeted on one in every six routes run, down from one in every four last year. Still, a player of Kittle's caliber has the potential to go off any given week. He should be in starting lineups in Week 10.--Dan Stephens
