Kyle's favorite WR vs. CB matchups to exploit for Week 4 of 2025 - DFS wide receivers to target on DraftKings and FanDuel. These WR/CB matchups are GPP and cash game opportunities.
Welcome to the Wide Receiver Matchups to Target column for Week 4 of the 2025 NFL season. We now have a decent three-game sample size in 2025, so we'll factor that in while giving more weight to other factors, such as implied totals, projected pace, and Vegas lines. This article hit on Nico Collins in Week 3, but it was an otherwise forgettable week from receivers in great spots to produce. We'll bounce back in Week 4.
To identify the best plays, we’ll use Pro Football Focus (PFF) WR/CB matchup grades to highlight receivers in favorable spots, with an eye toward those most likely to hit the 3x DraftKings multiplier that’s crucial in DFS cash and tournament contests.
Below are my top five WR vs. CB matchups for this week’s DFS main slate. Use these insights to fine-tune season-long lineups, player props, and DFS builds. Let’s get to it already!

Puka Nacua, Los Angeles Rams
- $7.9k on DraftKings, $9.4k on FanDuel
- Vs. Xavien Howard (Indianapolis Colts)
Puka is setting a torch to everyone so far this season, so we're firing him up as the top recommendation here against the Colts' exploitable secondary. Nacua has easily been the top receiver in all formats through three weeks, averaging an insane 26.5 DK PPG despite only scoring one touchdown. His metrics jump off the page, highlighted by 29 receptions (#1 among qualified WRs), 333 receiving yards (#1), 117 yards after catch (#4), 4.27 yards per route run (#2), 37.6% target share (#3), and 45.7% air yards share (#10).
He'll match up most often against Xavien Howard, who has been getting smoked this season. The former shutdown corner has allowed a 75% catch rate and two touchdowns on 12 targets in his coverage this season, and he hasn't faced anyone close to Nacua's talent level yet. He holds an abysmal 41.2 'coverage' grade via PFF, ranking 138th of 152 qualified CBs this season.

The game holds the highest implied total on the slate at 49.5 points, meaning there should be plenty of fantasy points scored on both sides of the ball. I'll gladly take Nacua in this matchup and game environment, despite his salary being the highest at the position in Week 4.
Nico Collins, Houston Texans
- $7.4k on DraftKings, $8.2k on FanDuel
- Vs. L'Jarius Sneed (Tennessee Titans)
We're rolling with Collins again after he exploded for an 8/104/1 line (26.4 DK points) against the Jaguars last week. The Texans have gotten off to a very bumpy start to the season as they're still searching for their first win, but Collins is still finding ways to contribute as his fantasy outputs have increased each week of the year so far.
C.J. Stroud and a sub-optimal offensive line don't inspire confidence, but there's something to be said about being the only real threat in any offense. Collins currently holds the highest 'dominator rating' in the NFL via PlayerProfiler, which is a metric that evaluates a receiver's percentage of total team receiving yards and receiving touchdowns. He also ranks 10th in the NFL with a high 29.1% target share and 11th in air yards share.
The most important aspect of this, though, is the glorious matchup he has in front of him in Week 4. He'll see a lot of L'Jarius Sneed, who ranks 87th of 102 CBs via PFF and has allowed an egregious 25.3 yards per reception this season. He'll also be matched up with Jalyn Armour-Davis, a fourth-year cornerback who has permitted 19 catches on 22 targets (86.4% catch rate) over the course of his career. This game won't be a shootout, but Collins is set up for another monster day at the office in Week 4.
Ladd McConkey, Los Angeles Chargers
- $6.5k on DraftKings, $7.7k on FanDuel
- Vs. Andru Phillips (New York Giants)
It appears that the Ladd McConkey disrespect has gone too far. He's cheaper than Zay Flowers on DraftKings for Week 4, and Flowers is coming off a brutal 3.3 DK point performance. McConkey has disappointed fantasy managers everywhere with Keenan Allen back in town, but this is the perfect spot for him to get back on track against a vulnerable secondary.
The Giants have allowed the second-most fantasy points per game to WRs this season, trailing only the Cowboys for the top spot. They rank #2 in receptions and receiving yards allowed to the position, and their cornerback room is severely lacking in talent and production. McConkey will primarily be matched up against Andru Phillips, who ranks 82nd of 102 CBs this season. He has allowed 23 receptions at a high 76.7% catch rate in his coverage, which makes it clear that teams are targeting him and having a lot of success doing so.
Ladd McConkey is still crushing, per @FantasyPtsData. They chart every route. And McConkey's numbers look fantastic, as per usual. Better, even.

Ladd won't be a popular choice in DFS formats this week, but he's set up to be an incredible contrarian pick who could break the slate with a ceiling output in Week 4.

Rome Odunze, Chicago Bears
- $6.3k on DraftKings, $7.2k on FanDuel
- Vs. Darnay Holmes, Kyu Blu Kelly, Eric Stokes (Las Vegas Raiders)
Odunze was a popular breakout pick in the fantasy community this offseason, with the consensus being that a second-year uptick in production was inevitable with the high-profile Ben Johnson in charge of the offense. The fantasy community appears to have got this one emphatically correct. Odunze has blown his DFS pricing out of the water in each of his first three games, scoring 15.7, 34.8, and 15.2 DK points (21.9 DK PPG) while piling up 227 receiving yards and four touchdowns in the process. The Bears' offense is still a work-in-progress, but the former Ohio State Buckeye has already emerged as the explosive WR1 in Chicago.

He's still priced in the higher end of the mid-range WR options in Week 4, and he has an excellent chance to keep the good times rolling against the Raiders. Las Vegas has allowed the fourth-most fantasy points per game to WRs, and Odunze has the opportunity to feast on the underwhelming trio of Darnay Holmes (84th of 102 CBs), Kyu Blu Kelly (68th), and Eric Stokes (61st). Odunze ranking fifth among qualified WRs in deep targets (2.3/game) feels like it'll come into play here. Fire him up in all formats this week.
Jakobi Meyers, Las Vegas Raiders
- $5.4k on DraftKings, $6.1k on FanDuel
- Vs. Nick McCloud, Tyrique Stevenson, Nashon Wright
We're running it back with Meyers as the preferred value pick on this slate. Meyers has had a solid start to the season, averaging 13.3 DK PPG with a usable floor of 9.3 DK points (Week 3). However, there's plenty of room for upside in his game as he has caught only 17-of-26 targets (65%) and has yet to find the end zone. He remains the de facto WR1 for Geno Smith, and his high rate of slot snaps (60%, #2 among qualified WRs) and yards after catch (113 yards, #5) give him legitimate upside at his salary.
Most importantly, the Bears are a very exploitable matchup for WRs. They've allowed the third-most fantasy points per game to the position this season while ranking 29th in PFF's coverage grade. Meyers will see a lot of Nick McCloud (85th of 102 CBs), who has a 48 coverage grade and has allowed 10 catches on 12 targets (83.3% catch rate) along with two touchdowns this season. The game features a high 47.5-point implied total, so this is all setting up for Meyers to break out and demolish his DFS pricing in Week 4.
