LPL Matches

Oh My God vs. Team WE (-1600)

OMG came away with a win over RW in their last outing proving they are not the absolute worst team in the LPL. WE sits at 8-3 and have won three consecutive matches. A lot of heavy favorites in the LPL as of late, and I know you don't need an LoL analyst to tell you that WE should sweep OMG, but they should do it while racking up kills in the process. WE has huge advantages in every early game statistic as well as all three neutral objectives. OMG likes to die, and Jiumeng should have no problem racking up kills as he leads the team by far with a 27% damage rate. Everyone on WE is viable tonight, and they will likely be the first or second most owned stack on the night.

The pick: WE, 2-0

Top WE plays:

  • Jiumeng - ADC
  • Beishang - JNG
  • Breathe - TOP
  • Missing - SUP

Edward Gaming (-475) vs. LNG

LNG is coming in fresh off a 2-1 victory over LGD while EDG suffered only their second defeat of the split in their last match against RNG. EDG is slightly better early, while also having better control in all three of the neutral objectives. We could catch EDG looking ahead to their matchup with TES later in the week, but I still think they handle LNG here. LNG is one of the only dogs on the slate I have even a little bit of interest in, I do think they can steal a game or the series here. Xiaohu is my favorite TOP laner on the slate and I like Jiejie as well as he should own the jungle going up against Tarzan. Viper has the highest damage % on this EDG squad, while his BOT lane partner, Meiko holds a 72% kill participation.

The pick: EDG, 2-1

Top EDG plays:

  • Viper - ADC
  • Xiaohu - TOP
  • Jiejie - JNG
  • Scout - MID

Fredit Brion vs. DAMWON Gaming (-1200)

The kings of the LCK only have one loss this split, and that came all the way back on January 21st, to this same Fredit Brion squad in sweep fashion. Now I don't actually think there is a chance that Fredit wins this match again as DWG likely comes out for revenge. DWG owns Fredit Brion in every stat category except first blood. DWG should roll here and get the sweep. I do not expect Fredit to provide any resistance to the early push from DWG and it should be an easy snowball from there. Absolutely everyone on this roster is viable in this matchup but expect them to be major chalk along with WE.

The pick: DWG, 2-0

Top DWG plays:

  • ShowMaker - MID
  • BeryL - SUP
  • Canyon - JNG
  • Ghost - ADC

Afreeca Freecs vs. Hanwha Life Esports (-235)

The Freecs have lost four of their last five coming into this one and are tied for second to last in the LCK standings. HLE took this match-up the first time around 2-1, they are 8-5 and 4th in the LCK. I expect this match to be more dominant for the side of HLE this time around as I like them to sweep here. The pace of this match does concern me. HLE will likely be the lowest owned out of the four favorites tonight and I think it's a great spot to attack to get your leverage on the field. Chovy is the hard carry on this HLE roster as he has the best damage% and kill participation on this HLE squad. Choby is an elite one-off, but as I said before I do not mind full stacking HLE as ownership will likely be deflated

The pick: HLE, 2-0

Top HLE plays:

  • Chovy - MID
  • Deft - ADC
  • Vsta - SUP
  • Morgan - TOP

Summary

  1. Back to four-game slates, you love to see it!
  2. HLE is my favorite GPP shot on the slate and LNG is my favorite dog
  3. WE is the top stack on the slate but will be very chalky, best of luck to all

Best of luck tonight, RotoBallers!
