LCK Matches

Afreeca Freecs vs. DragonX (-155)

Afreeca comes into this one having lost three in a row while sitting at 3-6. DragonX is coming off perhaps their biggest win of the split over T1 and sit at 6-3. DRX holds first turret advantage while the Freecs have a much higher first blood rate. DRX has much better baron control while AF prioritizes heralds and dragons. DragonX has been bad early, holding an average -900 gold differential at 15 minutes. That is likely the win condition here for the Freecs, get an early game lead and snowball as hard as possible. I don't like the chances of the Freecs to utilize that advantage as their early game isn't dominant by any means. SOLKA is my favorite play here for DRX as he has a 70% kill participation. DRX 2-1.

The pick: DragonX, 2-1

Top DRX plays:

  • SOLKA - MID
  • Pyosik - JNG
  • Kingen - TOP
  • BAO - ADC

T1 (-450) vs. Liiv Sandbox

T1 are heavy favorites tonight as they take on the current last place team in the LCK, Liiv Sandbox. T1 holds the advantage in every single stat except rift herald control. I expect this to be a 2-0 sweep and T1 will be chalk tonight. There is not much way around this chalk in my opinion, maybe differentiating your stack and including the team slot could be a way to be different. The BOT lane duo of Gumayusi and Keria are my two favorite plays from T1. They both hold over a 72% kill participation and have  a very favorable lane match -up.

The pick: T1, 2-0

Top T1 plays:

  • Gumayusi - ADC
  • Keria - SUP
  • Faker - MID
  • Eliim - JNG

Summary

  1. Not many places to go on this two-gamer. T1 is my favorite play but they will definitely be chalk. I don't mind taking a shot on AF, as they are a live dog and could score well in a win. Taking your big stack from the DRX/AF match would be contrarian tonight, best of luck to everyone.
