Jayson Tatum - NBA DFS Picks, Daily Fantasy Basketball, NBA Injury News

CeeGee's favorite FanDuel NBA DFS picks for today, Friday 4/11/25. His top daily fantasy basketball lineup sleepers and value picks for FanDuel DFS contests.

This slate is a minefield of injuries, questionable tags, and late-season rotation quirks. Stars like Donovan Mitchell, Paolo Banchero, and Alperen Sengun carry question marks that could shift value dramatically.

This article will provide my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for FanDuel on 4/11/25. Remember to monitor NBA injury news and our awesome NBA injuries report tool, as the slate can completely change before lineups lock at 7:00 p.m. EST on FanDuel.

FanDuel NBA DFS Core Picks

These are the foundational pieces for your FanDuel lineups, players with strong matchups, secure roles, and the potential to deliver for both cash and tournaments.

Jayson Tatum - BOS - PF/SF ($10,200)

With Jaylen Brown sidelined, Tatum transforms into the undisputed alpha of Boston’s offense, facing a Charlotte team that’s been a defensive sieve, giving up 116.5 points per game (3rd-worst in the league).

His usage rate balloons to 30% without Brown, and he’s been a stat-sheet stuffer lately, averaging 26.9 points, 8.7 rebounds, and 6 assists over his last three games.

At $10,200, he’s a cash game lock with a 50-point floor and a ceiling pushing 65 if his three-ball is dialed in. In GPPs, he’s a sharp pivot from pricier stars, offering similar upside at a slightly lower ownership.

Trae Young - ATL - PG ($9,600)

Trae’s licking his chops at a matchup against a Philadelphia team that’s limping into this one with Quentin Grimes questionable and Justin Edwards already out, thinning their backcourt depth. The Sixers rank a dismal 21st in points allowed and 27th in defensive rating, setting up Trae to exploit their perimeter weaknesses.

Atlanta’s 125.3 implied total, the highest on the slate, signals a potential offensive explosion, and Trae’s been delivering recently, averaging 24 points, 11.6 assists, and sneaky contributions of 3.1 rebounds and a steal per game over his last three.

At $9,600, Trae’s 40-point floor and 60-point ceiling make him a cash game stabilizer, while his ability to pop off for a massive stat line keeps him in the GPP conversation.

Cade Cunningham - DET - PG ($10,400)

Cade’s been carrying Detroit’s offense like a man possessed, averaging a 32% usage rate over his last three games while racking up 25.7 points, 9.1 assists, and 6.2 rebounds per night.

He faces a Milwaukee defense that’s middle-of-the-road (14th in points allowed) and plays at a 14th-ranked pace, aligning nicely with Detroit’s top-10 tempo for a game that should feature plenty of back-and-forth action.

At $10,400, his 45-point floor makes him a cash game anchor you can trust, while his 60-point ceiling offers GPP appeal, especially if chalkier guards like Trae Young draw heavier ownership.

FanDuel NBA DFS Tournament Pivots

These players offer high ceilings and potentially lower ownership, perfect for differentiating in GPPs.

Nikola Jokic - DEN - C ($12,700)

Jokic is the slate’s gold standard, projected to outscore everyone by a mile, and his matchup against Memphis only amplifies his appeal. The Grizzlies play at the NBA’s fastest pace and rank a porous 24th in defensive rating, creating a perfect storm for Jokic’s all-around dominance.

He’s a walking triple-double, averaging 30 points, 13 rebounds, and 10 assists over his last three games, with a 29% usage rate that spikes in high-paced games.

At $12,700, he’s a GPP necessity and a cash game option if you lean on value elsewhere, offering a 60-point floor and a ceiling that could flirt with 80 in a close game.

Onyeka Okongwu - ATL - C/PF ($8,500)

Okongwu has been a quiet revelation with Clint Capela’s minutes inconsistent, and he’s poised to capitalize against a Philadelphia frontcourt that’s running on fumes with Adem Bona as the starting center.

The Sixers rank dead last in rebounding rate allowed, a glaring weakness for Okongwu’s relentless board crashing, he’s averaging 13 points and 8.7 rebounds over his last three games. Atlanta’s slate-high 125.3 implied total hints at a track meet

At $8,500, he’s a mid-tier price that keeps ownership lower than Jokic or other elite bigs, yet his 40-point ceiling, and potential for 50 if Atlanta’s offense hums, makes him a GPP gem. Don’t sleep on his ability to outproduce flashier names in this spot.

Josh Giddey - CHI - PG ($10,300)

Giddey’s been flirting with triple-doubles, posting 14.4 points, 7.1 assists, and 8 rebounds per game over his last three, and he gets a dream matchup against a Washington defense that’s allergic to stopping anyone (28th in defensive rating, 29th in points allowed).

The Wizards’ 4th-ranked pace fuels a breakneck game pace, projected at a 235-point total, giving Giddey ample chances to pile up stats across the board.

At $10,300, Giddey’s price scares off some ownership compared to chalkier guards like Trae Young, but his 50-point upside makes him a savvy GPP differentiator. If the game is close, he could be the key to unlocking tournament success.

Aaron Wiggins - OKC - SF/SG ($6,000)

Oklahoma City has nothing left to play for since they clinched the #1 overall seed throughout the playoffs. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Jalen Williams, Chet Holmgren, and others are out tonight, thrusting Wiggins into a starring role that could spell GPP gold.

He’s averaging 11.5 points and 3.8 rebounds, but his usage spikes to 20%+ without OKC’s top dogs, and he’s shown he can handle extended minutes (25+ projected here). Utah’s defense is a tire fire (29th in defensive rating), and their 6th-ranked pace aligns perfectly with OKC’s 5th-ranked tempo for a game that could turn into a stat-stuffing frenzy.

Low ownership and high upside make him a tournament-only dart worth throwing.

FanDuel NBA DFS Value Picks

These players are under $6,000 and offer salary relief while still delivering strong FanDuel points relative to their price.

Jonathan Mogbo - TOR - PF/C ($6,100)

With Toronto’s frontcourt decimated, Jakob Poeltl, RJ Barrett, and Immanuel Quickley are all out, Mogbo steps into the starting center role against Dallas, and he’s ready to make waves.

He’s been quietly effective, averaging 5.9 points, 4.7 rebounds, and 2 assists in just 19.6 minutes per game, but this matchup could see him push 28-30 minutes as the Raptors’ primary big. Dallas ranks a shaky 24th in rebounding rate allowed, giving Mogbo a legitimate shot at double-digit boards.

At $6,100, Mogbo’s a cash game lock with a 30-point floor, and his potential for 35-40 points if he gets loose on the glass makes him a sneaky GPP option too. He’s the kind of value that lets you afford the slate’s top dogs without sacrificing reliability.

Adem Bona - PHI - C ($6,400)

Bona’s been thrust into the spotlight with Joel Embiid sidelined, earning a starting nod for Philly against Atlanta’s high-octane offense. He’s made the most of limited minutes, averaging 5 points and 3.9 rebounds, but expect 25-28 minutes here as the Sixers lean on him to anchor the paint.

Atlanta’s frontcourt isn’t exactly imposing, ranking 14th in rebounding rate allowed, which plays right into Bona’s relentless energy on the boards. The Hawks’ fast pace ensures plenty of possessions for him to rack up put-backs, blocks, and hustle stats.

His $6,400 price tag offers a 25-point floor with a ceiling pushing 30-35. Bona’s a cash game value you can trust to hit 4-5x, and his upside makes him a GPP flier for those chasing a breakout from a budget big.

Jalen Pickett - DEN - PG ($4,100)

Pickett is the ultimate punt play with hidden upside, especially if Denver’s game against Memphis turns lopsided or if Jamal Murray (questionable) sits or plays limited minutes. He’s averaging just 4 points and 2.2 assists in 12.9 minutes, but Memphis’ league-leading pace and 24th-ranked defensive rating create a chaotic environment where Pickett could shine in 15-20 minutes off the bench.

His $4,100 price is dirt-cheap for a guy who could see expanded run. He’s strictly a GPP flier due to the uncertainty, but the ceiling for 5-6x value at near-minimum salary makes him a tantalizing dart throw for tournament players hunting differentiation.

Jamison Battle - TOR - SF ($4,100)

Toronto’s roster is a skeleton crew, and Battle’s been soaking up minutes as a result, averaging 16.7 minutes and 6.7 points per game. With Poeltl, Barrett, and Quickley out, he’s likely to see 22-25 minutes against Dallas, whose 19th-ranked defensive rating leaves gaps for role players to exploit.

At $4,100, Battle’s a cash game filler with a 20-point floor, perfect for squeezing in stars like Jokic or Tatum. In GPPs, he’s a low-ownership punt who could hit 25-30 points if his shot’s hot and the minutes hit the high end of his projection.
