FanDuel MLB DFS Lineup Picks (6/19/19): Daily Fantasy Baseball Advice

Nate Duffett highlights the top FanDuel MLB DFS lineup picks for 6/19/19, and a couple of sleepers to consider while building daily rosters.

There are 16 games on the schedule today, but I will be focusing my research on the ten-game main slate.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy baseball lineup picks for FanDuel on 6/19/2019. The picks will range from some of the elite players to mid-priced options and value plays.

We also provide DFS lineup picks for DraftKings and other sports. If you have any questions or comments, feel free to contact me on Twitter @Roto_Nate.

FanDuel DFS Pitchers

Rich Hill: LAD vs SF ($9,600)

Hill hasn't had a start above three earned runs so far this season and finds himself in a great matchup against the worst-hitting team in the league against left-handed pitching. The Giants have a .270 team wOBA and a 24% strikeout rate. Hill's strikeout numbers are elite this season with a 10.2 K/9, so I would expect a high strikeout upside in this matchup. I believe that Hill's price is much too low for his ceiling, which surprisingly could make him one of the best value plays on the slate at this price.

Daniel Ponce de Leon: STL vs MIA ($6,500)

Ponce de Leon should have enough upside in this matchup to reach his value. Despite low inning totals, Ponce de Leon has only allowed one earned run in each of his first two starts. His previous outing was on short rest, so there's a possibility that he will get the opportunity for a more extended outing in this game. With Adam Wainwright's return imminent, there could be some extra motivation for Ponce de Leon tonight as he tries to keep a spot in the rotation.

FanDuel DFS Infielders

Josh Bell: C-1B, PIT vs DET ($4,300)

The ball just keeps flying off of Bell's bat, and I can't see it stopping today against Jordan Zimmermann. He hasn't allowed too many home runs this season, but a 7.71 ERA and .384 wOBA allowed to left-handed hitters makes Bell one of the top options on the slate. 14 out of 19 of Bell's home runs have come against a right-handed pitcher this season, and I can see him adding another one against Zimmermann tonight.

Ozzie Albies: 2B, ATL vs NYM ($3,600)

Albies has been on a tear in June with four home runs, and multi-hit games in five of his last seven. Steven Matz has allowed home runs to right-handed hitters at an alarming rate, with eight out of his ten coming from that side of the plate. Albies has a .417 wOBA and .218 ISO against left-handed pitching this season, with nine of his home runs coming at SunTrust Park.

David Freese: 3B, LAD vs SF ($2,900)

With Freese's numbers this season, it's a mystery why the Dodgers don't give him more playing time. He has a .400+ wOBA against both pitching handedness and is even better at home with a .455 wOBA and .286 ISO. He faces Drew Pomeranz with his 8.87 ERA on the road this season, so I will be interested to see if they find a spot for him in the lineup tonight. Let's hope that is the case, as hitters like this at below $3,000 are hard to come by.

Francisco Lindor: SS, CLE at TEX ($4,100)

Coming off an 0-6 day at the plate last night, this is the perfect opportunity for Lindor to get back on track against Joe Palumbo. We will hope that the Indians don't decide to give him an off day to lick his wounds after that rough of a night, as the best medicine could be hitting the ball around the park against Palumbo. He looked less than impressive his first career start, and Lindor boasts a .378 wOBA against left-handed pitching.

FanDuel DFS Outfielders

Gregory Polanco: OF, PIT vs DET ($2,900)

If you're looking for some value after spending up on Josh Bell, why not pick on Jordan Zimmermann more with Bell's teammate. Polanco has a .312 wOBA and .186 ISO against right-handed pitching and will be at the top of the lineup along with Bell to form a cheaper stack. The Pirates are a great hitting team at home and should knock Zimmermann around the park today.

Jordan Luplow: OF, CLE at TEX ($3,000)

In the same light as the Bell/Polanco stack, Luplow is a great cheap option to contrast the more expensive Lindor. In this instance, Luplow could be the better option of the two, as he boasts a whopping .459 wOBA and .422 ISO against left-handed pitching.
